Just got my Bordeaux application returned, saying that it was received after the closing date. Double checked the application form and it was, as I remembered, 31 August! The application had 'Received 3 August' stamped all over it. (and the wine had been purchased on 21 July).

I have sent it back to them pointing this out, and asking for an extra refund to cover the additional stamp!

Always worth checking an rejections becuase they do seem to get it wrong - this is the second time one of my applciations has been rejected wrongly.
The first was the Wilkinson Intuition razor TMF, they said the receipt was not dated, but it clearly was! I wrote back to them highlighting it and got no reply, so complained to Wilkinson Sword direct who said they coldn't give me my refund but sent me £15 in vouchers.

Found a new 'Taste Guarantee' on packs of Sainsburys Taste the Difference fresh fishcakes. You need to send the usual +15 word explanation, till receipt, and "label" - at one point it says "product label", at another point it says "this label" (i.e. the special sticker with details of the offer). So probably best to find a promo pack, and send both. Purchase by 01.11.05, apply by 16.11.05, one per household. Refund will be £2.99 plus 21p postage. Pack does indeed cost £2.99, but all Taste the Difference stuff is 10% off over this holiday weekend and the 30p discount on this product is shown separately underneath on the till receipt. So with a bit of expert circling - and a very thick pen - you might just get an extra 30p refunded ;) . Note this offer is on the packs of two FRESH (not frozen) fishcakes.

Can someone post the address for the fishcakes? By sod's law I've ripped my label just across the address and can't read it.

Just noticed on the side of my packet a 'Taste Guarantee'.
Tell us in 15 words senario............top of the box and till receipt.
They will refund purchase price only...............so you pay for the stamp, although its not a SAE.
I paid £3.14 for 160 bags in Tesco but have also seen them in Sainsburys.

ps. Just wrote the envelope and made a mistake.................its actually a Freepost address, so no stamp needed after all.
