I've just had a look on the Highland Spring website, and it says the kids water multipack retails at £2.99 - yeah, right! Has anyone seen it at that price? I've only seen it in Tesco for £3.48. Haven't seen it anywhere else
I've complained both to MKM and HS. Am hoping to get a cheque for the full amount and maybe some vouchers0 -
The first Highland Spring I bought in Tesco was £2.45. I got my cheque back for that, plus the original reciept, showing that price.
Went back this weekend to get one to send to my son and it was £3.48!!
Maybe the first one was a price error, because that's an awful lot of difference for the same product!
I'm hoping they send the reciept back again, if they do and the cheque is for less..........................I'm gonna complain as well

Apologies if this has already been posted but did'nt have time to check. Yesterday I was in Asda and noticed a new 1001 product called No Vac Foam Carpet Freshener. There's a label on the top saying try me free - Claim a full refund up to a maximum of £2.69. Offer closes 31.10.05. You have to say why you were satisfied or dissatisfied with it in no more than 15 words but they do also refund 21p postage so make sure you send it second class.

Following on from previous discussions I emailed Highland Spring this morning and had a very swift reply. It sounds like the supermarkets, certain ones in particular, decided to hitch the price up themselves!
Many thanks for your letter and comments regarding the Highland Spring Kids
Try Me Free offer.
Only yesterday did I learn that Tesco had increased the retail price of this
pack from the standard price of £3.14. At the time of agreeing this
promotion the highest retail price in the market was £3.15 and Highland
Spring did not recommend a price increase to any retailer and certainly did
not envisage any retailer making a decision to increase the price
themselves.
As a supplier, Highland Spring does not have control over the retail selling
price since outlets determine their own selling prices for consumers based
on a variety of factors including operational costs so, in this case,
unfortunately Highland Spring are unable to change this. However, although
packs already in the market cannot be changed with regards the refund price
terms advertised of £3.15, yesterday I instructed all refunds to be
increased to a maximum of £3.48 based on the receipt received. Therefore,
if you claim your refund you can be assured you will recieve the full amount
of £3.48 shown on your reciept.
Highland Spring, who pioneered the Kids bottled water market in 2001,
champions Kids Healthy Living, sponsoring the School Food Awards and
highlighting issues with children's poor eating and drinking habits to many
opinion formers through dedicated research. The Try Me Free offer was
introduced to increase awareness of our product, aiming to widen the healthy
drink option to children in the UK. I am sorry for any inconvenience the
price change on this promotioanl pack has caused you and hope you continue
to enjoy Highland Spring, the No.1 UK produced Natural Mineral Water from an organic source.
Yours sincerely,
Anna McDonald

Ha, I've had exactly the same email from her, just logged on to post it but you've beat me to it! It's nice to know they'll refund all the money. :j0 -

What on earth is "water from an organic source"? This is really pushing an association past the point of ridicule, even for a marketing department. Amazing.
(Plenty of "try me free" water coming down from the heavens at the moment - just incline head upwards and open mouth).0
