As a family we've had a number of lump type scenarious over the past few years, enough to last a life time.
Sorry, but I care:beer:
Thank you for that post.
Don't know why but it touched me.
Thanks to Ember999, the amazingly self proclaimed "damn sexy" lady!!0 -
Please go to the drs. last year on this very board, i got the same comments as you as i posted i had 2 lumps in my neck, this caring bunch shouted out me, pm'd me into submission and didnt give up until i went.
I am very glad i did as it turns out i had lymphoma. And the speediness of which i got it sorted has left me fine. I had the lumps removed and now i just have regular check ups and treatment.
Please Please go, we will all worry about you, until we know you are ok.0 -
Are you being a coward and putting it off? Please don't, there is little if anything in your world more important than your health. If this lump is sinister it is not going to get better or go away on its own. Don't kid yourself that you may be immune or that perhaps statistics will work in your favour. I don't want to scare you, but not dealing with it is the absolute worst thing you can do, doing nothing is not an option. Please go to the doctor, you NEED to go to the doctor.cymro1170 wrote:I haven't made the appointement.
The thing I had planned for Moday, I wasn't able to do until Tuesday.
Everything's a little behind at the moment.
Can't go at all next week because I'm really too busy.
Will do it soon.0 -
Get yourself to a doctors NOW, stuff being busy!!! Nothing is more important than your health. After being totally dismissed by my doctor when I went to her with a lump in my breast it took me another 6 months to brave the subject again to a locum when I still had the lump.
What could have been dealt with by a simple lumpectomy turned into something that required a full mastectomy. It's not worth putting something like this off.
And Savvy, I completely agree with you. Maintaining my sense of humour was the thing that got me through it, I tell everyone that I had a boob job on the National Health but they couldn't spare the money for bigger onesOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

You found the time to change your user name, you find the time to make follow up posts, now make time to go to the doctor.
