Finding lumps

Hello there,
this is my first post here, although I have been looking around for a while.
A few weeks ago whilst examining myself in the bathroom I discovered a lump in my left testicle.
Should I worry about this or just leave it for a while to see what happens?
It is a bit sore when I prod it.
Thanks

GET TO THE DOCTORS TOMORROW!
He or she will have seen a willy before!
If it's nothing, it's nothing. If it's not, the longer you leave it then the worse it could potentially be.
Look at Lance Armstrong - Even if it's the worst it's surviveable.
It is most likely nothing - these things often are, but if it's not, you need it dealt with.
Am I making myself clear???
Walk proudly into the room, slap your todger on the table and get it looked at!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS, Why two names ? are you schitzophrenic too?How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
Hubby had this a few years ago. He was embarrassed too, but once he was actually at the doc's he was ok. It turned out to be nothing, the lump went away on it's own. Ring the doc first thing in the morningBulletproof0

Go straight to the doctors - may be a harmless cyst or an infected follicle that antibiotics will treat. Worth getting it checked out...amazing how men won't get their bits out for the doctor, while millions of women everyday get prodded and poked!!! Hope its sorted soon.0

Wheter are male or female GP you will have nothing they have never seen before - they are obviously trained doctors. It is your health you are worrying about, what is there to feel awkward about?
While you are there ask for instructions on how to examine yourself properly and for advice on how often to do it.
Think yourself lucky you don't have to go for cervical smear tests...0 -

It's embarassing - I used 2 names for that reason, but changed to my cymro1170 account - doh!!
My Doc is a woman - and I find it quite awkward getting my bits out. If it was Jordan or Charlotte Church.... well....0 -
go to doctors tomorrow
let them tell you it is nothing to worry about
...which I am sure it will be

lol I think they'll welcome you at the moneysavers arms.
Get it checked out as soon as possible. I've been through the same process and if anything you're less of a man if you don't go through with it.
Besides the examination is nothing to worry about but the possibility of illness is!, so don't worry and just get checked out quickly.0
