  • Hi everyone,

Had a hunt around and couldn't find anything like this posted elsewhere - apologise if I'm wrong.

I just wondered OOI (out of interest), is there any item that you cannot go without (something that goes against your :money: OS lifestyle?)

OH and I are cutting back on luxuries but I must admit to staunchly refusing to give up my liz earle skincare regime :o I don't mind if OH puts his foot down on one thing too (I think it will be his enormous packed lunches) so I don't think I'm being totally unfair. I just wondered if anyone else was the same!

I'm cutting back on everything else I can think of, I just CANNOT go without my liz earle

Costco Chicken Tikka Masala. We all love it and no other CTM tastes as good to us, not takeaway, not totally home-made, and none using the various pre-made sauces.

    Hi tonywoty,

There was a recent thread on luxuries that Old Stylers won't compromise on so I've added your thread to it to keep all the replies together.

    My car-
We are happy to compromise on just about anything else.
2 years ago we bought a 4yo 3L JaguarX-type. I only do about 50 miles a week (how I justify owning a 'gas guzzler'. It was also a mega-bargain and I could sell it today for more than I paid for it. (We were saving for a new kitchen)
The novelty hasn't worn off one bit, I'm sure the novelty of a new kitchen would have worn off long ago.
