I forgot breakfast cereal!
I make a mix of Mr.M's muesli, Quaker oat granola, and Bran Flakes. I keep them in a lock & Lock and gently roll the container round to mix 'em together.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Another vote for Yorkshire tea, as it's so strong I get 2 cups from it. Also I'd rather eat less meat but have good quality. We did have a few experiments with cheaper cuts but neither OH or I were keen on them. So we have more vegetarian dishes and meals with small amounts of meat (stir fries, pasta sauces etc where a little goes a long way) and eat nice meat once or twice a week. I also don't like cheap chocolate it's got to be Green & Blacks or Lindt. Sometimes Home Bargins does me proud but otherwise I wait for offers and stockpile it, actually this is what I do with most pricer items.0

Meats, I don't care what price it is at our favourite farm shop, I know it's reasonable I just don't look any more at the prices. Cheaper cuts are like expensive ones from other 'shops'. Things like sausages, I just couldn't eat ones filled with junk, sorry
Coffee, maybe not pay too much more but I would still buy it
Good cheese, not the stuff I buy for DP and DS2 as they get through some cheese a week but the nice stufffor me mainly I'd probably just buy less of it
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Bread and Tea. I can't stand the cheapie versions of either. Oh, I'm another Yorkshire tea drinker. If there's no Yorkshire, I'll settle for PG....But Yorkshire's definitely my favourite:D0

Decent steak mince (none of this value frozen carp!), nice bacon, nice tomatoes, and local full cream milk for DS (which we don't dilute!).

Don't say that  I love my Radio 4 podcasts, but probably couldn't justify them at that priceI'd have to get rid of the TV and the associated licence fee :rotfl:
As others have said, when we eat meat, I want it to be good quality (I'd rather eat vegetarian than eat rubbish meat :T ).
I also sacrifice a lot of what could be time to myself to spend time with my family and friends
I'll add this to the existing No Compromise! thread to keep ideas together

well....a bit different possibly.....but a couple of glasses of wine when I get an "attack" of the "Anxiety Demons" ....knocks that on the head for the night and I'm back to relatively philosophical in the morning and "what can I do to cope with life?" mode again in the morning.
I will use more "natural" ways to keep things "under control" in the first place ....honest yer honour....but for right now.....if it "belts" a minor "anxiety attack" back under control...then its worth it.0 -

I know what you mean it has to be diet coke - cheaper brands will not get me through the working day.
also proper coffee, earl grey tea and free range eggs!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0
