This should take you to the first post on the thread by the lovely pania“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0 -
The general plan is to improve my all round fitness. Before my FIL's diagnosis, I was swimming twice a week, 40 lengths in 40 minutes. I always felt so good afterwards.

I'm sure you soon will be, you are much younger than me!:D I'm going to go next week, & I expect my time will be much slower as I haven't been for a while. Over Christmas I put on 1/2 a stone, so that we also make me sink.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Thanks Chris for the link!Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0 -
Im sure you wont sink :rotfl: just back from swimming, 20 lengths in 30 minutes. not too bad but could have been better! hopefully will get plenty of walking in this weekend, a friend of mine is a member of the 20 and 30's ramblers and has invited me alongfinally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0

Well done on the swimming!
Lucky you, have a good weekend rambling! We are planning on going to Stourhead, which is a NT property in a beautiful setting. To walk around the grounds takes a few hours.Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0 -

Have a GREAT time rambling and walking girls and really enjoy yourselves! Our youngsters (both married) keep on at hubbie and I to go to Stourhead as they adore it there, but we've never been yet. Still, one of these days, maybe spring when there's a good bird's Chorus to walk along with!
Have a great weekend.

Thanks K, you've sold me on it now, though it's not the houses that interest me really, I'd sooner be out with nature than in posh places that I'll never be able to afford. I can afford all the free goings'on that nature gives! Thanks a lot K.
