I'm pretty sure we left there at 6:50pm and there was no sign of it closing. I think it's open 'til 8 on weekdays and possibly 6 on Sat/Sun.

    Edit: The website says

  • I have booked th cariba creek weekend. can anyone tell me Exactly what you get for your money as I have only had a small confirmation email from Lastminute.com and had to ring Alton Towers direct to check if I was booked in and I am (splash landings). But the Alton towers lady wouldn't be drawn on what it includes as she said it may be different form their offer.

Also any money saving tips for when we are there?

When I went in January through lastminute, the deal included 2 nights accommodation/breakfast, night & day entertainment and we were able to access Cariba Creek Waterpark on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

  • Was it expensive on site? and what kind of entertainment was there? Am trying to organise our time as best we can as we can't set off till after school and it' a bit of a trek so it would be great to know what's on on the friday night and what sort of times (5 year old boy and 9 year old girl)

We dont go until the 7th but there is a post on page 4 of this thread of whats included but no times. I have also read on other threads about face painting, t-shirt painting, magic shows and hair braiding etc. We wont get there till later either and we are planning on stopping for something to eat on the way, to save time when we get there. A lot of the reports say the food is poor so we are taking bits and pieces with us and are going to eat our main meals off site. We have been searching for places nearby and there is a range of places, McDonalds, TGI, Toby carvery, Pizza hut and pubs serving food.
  • ohh sounds good to me! Any more info really aprecciated.

    Thanks for everyones help!
  • Hi

Does anyone know whether EVERYONE dresses up for pirate night and the carribean night? (our eldest son is somewhat reluctant!). And if they do, what sort of things are they wearing - I'm hoping to get away with t-shirt and jeans for the carribean night.

    No.

Lots of the younger kids do, ours did and loved it. A few of the adults did too and probably enjoyed it even more!!!

But certainly not more than a quater of people there dressed up.
