Funny, I made a complaint recently about the smell of fish in the cheese and dairy dept. of the Tesco’s where I live.
The store Manager replied in a very friendly and courteous manner saying on the phone they suspected it was a woman loitering around the dairy part of the store not wearing knickers. :rotfl:0 -
I hope you won't be shopping in Tesco anymore0

Remember the brief hot summer a few years ago? Went into Macclesfield Tesco (first ever visit) when 90+F to buy a sarnie.Spotted a seafood cocktail sandwich 4 DAYS PAST ITS SELL BY DATE. Got dep Manager out from her ivory tower who accused me of planting it!!!
Unfit to be a knight Terry failed to reply to an issue putting customer lives at risk and gross misconduct.
Later visit spoke to her boss who said we cannot match your expectations so go to Sainsbury's you are banned from here.
Don't care about the ban as visiting area from 100 miles away.
Tesco NEVER listens to customers & deserve to be fined !!

I don't know if sir terry actually receives external email or if it goes to his secretary first. I'd imagine he receives internal email only and anything external gets forwarded on where it's deemed necessary as is the case with most companies.

I've previously sent a complaint via Sir Terry's email, his secretary did pick it up and she dealt with the problem and got back to me to make sure it was sorted, I also got some vouchers which was nice.0 -

Had to complaints sent to that mail address and had his PA contact me and had CS from Dundee on the phone in minutes both times and money refunded and voucher cards as a gesture of goodwill0 -
Tescos certainly seems to have customer relations all sewn up, don't they?
Earlier this week, my Stepson's partner visited the Tesco Store at the Beggars Bush, Birmingham. Bought a trolley load of groceries and upon leaving the store, was met by an idiot trolley-dolly. Because she happened to be crossing the route that the trolley-dolly was intending to use, he called my Stepson's partner "a f
slag.
She immediately complained to customer services and then to the manager.... Neither of them were interested.
When I was much younger, I worked in retail and if I'd even thought that about a customer it would have been classed as gross misconduct and I would have been straight down the road.
It seems that Tesco has no standards!
Sir Terry..... you have mail!0 -
Someone who obviously should have tried complaining to Mr Leahy before they took the action they did:

Me too. I e-mailed Mr Leahy about a problem we had with Tesco Insurance. Although there wasn't a lot they could do, his PA spent a lot of her time trying to help, and it was much appreciated. Very nice lady.0 -
I just had to say thank you for the connectotel.com link! I have been trying to locate CEO email addresses to inquire about support for a breast cancer awareness fundraiser I am hosting next month and this site gave me all the contacts I needed. To the original poster, I am glad you got your problem resolved!0
