As someone's pointed out, I'm trying to keep my cats in. You're suggesting I make my cats stray, in which case, they are far more likely to come into your house or garden looking for food, and somewhere to go to the toilet. Not the sharpest tool in the box are you acehole? Maybe you should have a little think before you bother posting again. Wouldn't want you to make yourself look even more stupid than you already do.

Clicker training is a great way of training animals, including cats. You could train your cats to perform an alternative action, like fetching a toy when the door is opened. Click here for a video of cat clicker training.

Apart from training your cat/s things so you can manage them better, you can also teach them tricks, which will mentally stimulate them, entertain you and impress your guests!

Yes, I would think that target training (targetting the wand) is much easier with cats than with dogs, because of their natural characteristics. Once they've learnt to target the wand, you can use it to teach other tricks, like 'sit', 'lie' and even 'shutting the door'!
