its hasnt upset me ....grow up people they are animals
  • Thankyou, was going to see it as have read all his other posts on the other thread, but wasn't sure how to go about it. It hasn't upset me, but I do feel it's totally unnecessary.

Just ignore him..everyone else is from now on, perhaps he'll get bored and go away.
  • I've thought about the laser pointer aswell for abit of fun to keep her amused. will definately get one now and see whats shes like with it!
  • I appreciate that these animals may provide friendship and companionship to some people, my only gripe is that you seem to think it is ok for them to poo in other peoples gardens and that is not a problem. My children playing ball whilst treading in it IS a problem, more responsible care is needed for your animals
  • Acehole - would like to remind you that you are also an animal.

There are 3 things that make humans succesful - one is opposable thumbs, one is language and another is compassion - I think you missed out on the last 2 and can't comment on your digit complement.

Cats bury their poo, so how are your children standing in it. I also hardly think that a cat is a dumb animal as it can be taught to use a toilet! I would say that that is bright.

The laser pointers aren't that good as you have to make sure not to get it in eyes of any animal as it can cause temporary blindness.

Acehole - I bet you didn't have a pet as a kid - they teach invaluable lessons in caring, compasssion and obligation which I feel you missed out on.

If you want to have complete control over your cats, buy a little laser pointer than you can hook onto your door keys.

If you've got an indoor cat like I have it's also a good source of exercise for the cat, and endless amusement for me.

My cat will literally chase the red dot until she's too exhausted to chase it any more, she loves it. I could leave the front door open, and she'd run past it to chase the dot.

I recently read a huge article about animals and laser pointers. We got a puppy at the end of last year and did the usual 'new parent research' on the net about everything we needed to know, lol. Anyway, we came across this on one of our trawls and the article said that many pet owners use laser pointers with their pets and that it actually wasn't a very good thing.

Apparently the animals love chasing the dot about but after some time (differs between each animal and also breed, can be weeks/months) the animal can become frustrated that the dot can never be caught and eventually they can become neurotic.

 Dont know how true that is. Being a newbie owner, I didn't want to tempt fate, so I've never used a laser pointer....we have enough issues with our pup without adding new possibles to the equation, lol.

Just thought I'd mention. I'll try to find the webpage I read this on but I read millions during the first week we had our pup so I'm not sure if I'd find it again. Lol.

Acehole this isn't a thread about cats pooing in gardens, if anything cheltenhamgirl is trying to keep her cats in, so they don't poo in your garden!
  • emmmm all cats bury their poo lol I don't think so, if they can be taught to poo why do they do it in my garden ???? my obligation is to my children and keeping the garden free of animal mess

Haven't we already discussed this yesterday

This is nothing to do with cheltenhamgirl's thread, stop hijacking it with irrelevant posts

sorry cheltenhamgirl shall we get back to the subject in hand.

I lock my cats in the bathroom when I need to leave the front door open as my front door also leads onto the living room.
