Well I only used the one which was match.com, I exchanged messages/phone calls with 7 women and actually met 4 women, all where real people.
Out of the 4 women met one is to become my wife.:j
As I say I haven't seen an evidence of any type of con on match.com and I had more success than the free dating sites at the time, unless things have changed in the years since it should still be fine.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

I used Plenty of Fish. Being a poor student, I didn't have the money to pay out. Whilst there were a lot of guys after one thing or who sent generic messages along the line of 'Hi Hun, how r u?' equally I found a fair few really nice genuine guys. Over the course of 12 months I went on dates with a few guys who were for the most part really lovely (only one date from hell and my goodness it was a SHOCKER!) and a couple of months ago I met my current boyfriend who is just GORGEOUS.0

Hi guys.I found this threat interesting and just wanted to tell my ideas.Well when it comes to internet dating its sometimes full of bad experience or could be a pleasure to use these type of websites. But my suggestion is to start using it with a free of charge website so you can experience what you are paying for.You can start with pof.com, freedating.co.uk or theturkishdating.com
But never go for those posh looking with lots of sexy ladies dating sites as most of people could be fake and try to talk to you or send messages until you get full membership.0 -
i found my fella on plenty of fish. Personally there all the same sites, some are a bit more jazzy but if its free theres bound to be more people on it. Couldn't recommend it enough for meeting guys and a lot are genuine:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Do NOT join - MATCH.COM / DATING DIRECT / MEETIC.com
This is how they work - Most people join for 1 to 3 months. Match will continue to take payments automatically after this period without any warning. This is in their small print which some people won't read or won't remember. WORSE than this... even if you do go to cancel your subscription in time for them not to automatically take the payment (which is not a straightforward process), Match will take the payment ANYWAY and there is NOTHING you can do about it. If you try to contact them to complain they will say you didn't receive a cancellation email and didn't contact them about that therefore you hadn't cancelled and they will take another £30+ from your credit card/bank.
These sites are basically con artists. Stay well away !
If you are already a member, contact your credit card company or bank and stop any future payments to them. That is the only way to stop them taking your money.0 -

Completely 100% disagree with your post, utter rubbish . If you read the terms and conditions when signing up (which you should) and complete the process as you are meant to when cancelling it is fine. Never had a problem if you do it as instructed and I'm sure I'm not alone. If you like my post, please click the THANKSMarrying my gorgeous partner & best friend, 4th May 2013
