just got bk from boots got p&p foundation and highlighter for 17quidsh !! went through 3 4 2 then took money off for highlighter with voucher !! v please this was norwich riverside store !

did my first bootsing trip in a while yesterday and cam away feeling brilliant. I got the free No 7 powder with a reduced 50p wipe to which the sales assistant told me to go and get another as they are on 342. Also used my £5 skincare voucher on Olay Regenerist face cleanser wash which was £6.50 also printed off 300 points to use on regenerist from ACC. So all in all it cost me £2 for the lot and an extra 300 points (also bagged another mag incase I manage to go again for some more powder). This may sound a bit thick but is the powder like a blusher/bronzer? Happy times!!! Can anyone tell me when the 90% sale will start in store? I think I heard it was around 29th Jan???

pinklady, I was in the luton branch on tuesday. No new sale stock at all. They only had the TB sets and lynx left. I'm going in again this afternoon so will report back if I see any new stock:D

For a while I have read this forum but particularly this thread has I love shopping at Boots. For personal reasons took me a while before I felt I could post etc. I'm not sure cliquey is the right word for people on this thread but one thing that has surprised me is how many people's questions including my own go unanswered and seem to be overlooked.

All the offers and glitches are not for me and if thats the case I won't bother with them. The latest No7 glitch did work for me as DD got the tan wipes and the highlighters and she was very chuffed with this. I have posted in answer to other people's questions that I got 3 of these highlighters in the different colours. Again I never received a reply or was thanked. Anyway hey ho I decided to perserve and stick it out. Now I hope this isn't seen has me bragging about this glitch and why I never received feedback and others did . I missed out on the nappy glitch on line which would have been great having 2 new babies in the family to buy for, but you've got to be in it to win it.

Decided this morning again to get up at 5.00am and try my luck at ordering the sale items on line. I did manage to get a few bits which I am very chuffed with although didn't post my achievement. I was going to post and ask if anyone was successful with any of the toys. The toys go out of stock fast and was wondering if say only one item would be in stock etc, due to people being in the know more than myself. After reading some of the posts this morning made me feel uncomfortable and decided against it.

I have posted previously in this thread about being niave not realising that people would buy lots and then sell on Ebay at a profit. This isn't illegal so there is nothing we can do about. This is upto Boots to limit how many of the items one can buy until they do this problem will remain. I must admit I read a post last night on another thread whereby the op had nappies and other items in boxes in his loft. He doesn't need them has he's single, now the mind boggles, but he bought them fairly but rather unncessarily imo just to get points.

I want to be able to have a giggle at my purchases albeit at the expense of Boots and share with others my success or unsuccess rates lol. If I can't do this without being slagged off and others trying to make me feel guilty then this isn't the place I thought it was. Even if I am unsuccessful I'm pleased for others where its worked out. I ranted about .Com on here a few times there is no point my ranting to OH he doesn't understand but I did think fellow Boosters would understand hence my posts on the subject.

Sorry for my waffle but just my feelings from a newbie on here.

Put loads of good things in my basket at 5.30 this morning - by the time i had put my card details in most of it was gone - shouldn't be allowed. Really disappointed.

Ive asked questions on here and most when ignored except for one, yesterday i asked a question about postage and it got ignored. I feel that as im a newbie to this forum that people don't want to know. I may be wrong in this. I have found the help on here very helpful thou. But i don't understand why someone would order three or four simlar items so they can decide between them and send the other ones back. What about other people that really want these items. Im not judging anyone and am pleased for people when they get bargains. I just feel for people when they can't get things they really want then you read that someone got three of the same things just different design

Trouble is having it in your basket and going through the whole checkout process is still no guarentee that you are actually going to get the items! I ordered some toys right back at the start of the 75% sale and my order still says processing now! when I rang they informed me they were out of stock and the items were cancelled (I should apparently of been emailed!) but wasnt!:rolleyes:

I tried yesterday and put a few toys in my basket - when I looked at it to come to pay it had all been removed! :mad:

I wait with baited breath for the PSP to arrive if at all!

In defence - I'm not a regular here, I just flip in and out, and sometimes I ask a question, then come back later the same day & so many pages have been filled I cannot find any answers posted therfore have not been able to say thanks (or get the answer!) as this is such a fast moving thread!!
