Am I the only person who's lost the will to live over these vouchers, thus not worthy to be called a real Bootser? I have a drawer of wipes, brighteners, polishers and Gawd knows what else at home, all free, enough to last me and my immediate family all year....and it's only the end of January. I could go all year without buying anything else from Boots apart from shampoo. Yes it's nice that it's free, but what do other people here DO with all of this stuff???????????

I sell lots at bootfairs, made a packet last year with all the No7 sun stuff, eg, the Lynx sets I got today for £1.14 I will sell the deo at £1.25 and the shower gel at a £1 but because I got 5 at £5.70 I also got a voucher so got 3 sanctuary masks which will sell for 75p each (£1.79 instore) but I also get a lot of this stuff with points so make an even bigger profit.;)

The profit then pays for days out, weekends away etc for me and my 2 kids when they are on school hols

I also use stuff for school fayres etc. and gifts throughout the year.

I have found loads of these £5 off vouchers discarded and have to pick them up.
I started today with 4 to use up, till gave me another and found 3 and finally walked out the shop with a sense of relief having used them all up only to see another one on the floor in front of me

I got the Bratz case too £15 down to £1.50.

Richmond this morning had alot of Ted Baker sets, Lynx sets, gingerbread houses, bratz pink cases, dr who money helmets, xmas train tin, noddy & homer simpson bath foam, magnolia talcum powders and bath salts, Xmas wrapping paper, royal jelly sets and blue wahooo sets.
  • Dragged dh and dd to metro this morning and was outside when shop opened got
Philips dial up baby monitor reduced to £7.25,
    2 x No 7 Shimmer £3
4 Ted in Tunes £1.50 each
9 Lynx mag gift sets £1.14
Thats Cute Lockable Tin for 75p
was loads of wrapping paper and gingerbread houses left couldnt see any toys at all unfortunately, didnt dare look around the shop for more bargains as it was a miracle in itself to get dh to drive me up for the sale in the first place! Couldnt see anything at all at the team valley one but managed to get a highlighter and 2 liquid eyeliners for £8 so well chuffed with that.

Does anyone know or remember if the 90% off sale ever goes online? Or is 75% off the best it gets? There seems to be a lot of wrapping paper left online and I can't see why anyone would buy it at 75p when they can get it for 30p in store.
  • Just come back from a couple of West End London Boots with some bargains:

Got a few of the following:

5 x FCUK Sport Gift Deodrant Sets £1.50 each
    3 x Ted Baker Clocked £1.50 each
10 x Stella Artois Bottle + opener 50p each
3 x Blue Wahoo Duo Set 70p each
10 x Lynx Mag Gift Set £1.14 each
    1 x Homer Socks/bath wash 80p each
1 x Homer Desk Sweeper £1.00 each (have no idea why I bought this)
    2 x Boots Cuddly Mug 80p each

Didn't spend a single penny as I used the points on my ad card!!! :j

All come to £33, which is just ridiculous.

I went to my local branch today at 8.45am - Burnley.

Picked up 7 of the Lynx magazine sets at £1.14, and 4 of the Ted Baker speaker sets at £1.50 each.

Just been back in, and there's none of the sets left, but plenty of crackers and wrapping paper.

What exactly are the Lynx magazine sets, I did see lots left but did not have time to check them out.
    thanks

Can anyone tell me if i can use the PC 500 extra points when you spend £10 on baby products in the baby department when buying a child car seat?

I like to 'spend' them, get as much as possible without actually spending extra cash, then put them together for charities - Whoever asks me to do a basket usually gets one. I'd rather give a gift that can be raffled for more money that give money myself. Also, if I'm honest, I love making the baskets/boxes up with nice cellophane and bows - It alls helps when trying to sell tickets for raffles etc.

I just don't like to see 'money' being thrown away... I've got 4 vouchers left and I'm determined to spend them today!!!

Thats great to hear that you give the spare to charity. I usually give any spares I get to the local old peoples home, they are always very grateful.

OMG, where can I get hold of more PC? do they sell them on ebay? I only have the one, so I think I will wait for the new GWP.

I have looked on page 1 at the abbreviations but cannot find PC. What does this stand for?
