  • Please will someone tell me if the over 60's 10% discount applies when you pay with points?
Also, does it work with Boots electricals?

Hi Loverlee, yes the 10% does kick in when paying with points. But it does not work on the electricals (White goods etc) Or so I am told.:T

Thanks - that helps me work out when it will be necessary to have OH (and his Advantage card.... ) in tow.

Popped into Harrogate store and the few bits left were still marked as 75% off.

Harrogate store is 90% off, popped back in and they'd changed the signs! Only Ted Baker speaker sets, Lynx magazine sets, a few smellies and wrapping paper left. I've plenty of paper for next year now! ;)
  • I went to my local branch today at 8.45am - Burnley.

Picked up 7 of the Lynx magazine sets at £1.14, and 4 of the Ted Baker speaker sets at £1.50 each.

Just been back in, and there's none of the sets left, but plenty of crackers and wrapping paper.
  • Anything worth getting left in watford, harrow or borehamwood please?
    thanks!

This could of already have been posted but i have not read this thread properly for a while so i'm going to post it.

The Expert Maternity toiletories are half price at the moment, today i bought the stretch mark cream and used the Pregnancy club coupon for half price Expert Maternity or baby toiletories.

The till took off half the orginal price so the cream cost me minus 1p.

I tried it on the Expert baby range which is also reduced but the till would not except the half price coupon

I managed some of the Lynx sets today for £1.14. Will keep oh going for a few months. This was the only thing in my local Boots that was there. Asked sales assistant how much they were going through at and she said £2.75. I tried one and it was the £1.14, so not even they seemed to know it was 90% off.

Isn't it strange and annoying how stores are different even though there's suppose to be a central till system.

I managed to use my half price voucher on the Expert Baby range with the Expert Baby wipes which are on BOGOF and reduced and Boots basically paid me £1.04 to take them away.

I actually bought some more of these wipes today even without the voucher as they're such good value. Did use a 100 ACM voucher on any item from Expert range.

Bought 2 baby expert wipes = £2.55 each Total: £5.10
    On offer BOGOF = £2.55
Then the reduced price took 51p off each pack. Took off £1.02
    Total to pay = £1.50
    Each pack cost 75p.
If you include the 100 ACM voucher it's 50p for both packs. :T

Hi - can anyone please advise if there are any shops in the North East which sell white goods. I've got quite a lot of points and would like to treat the OH to something nice for the kitchen:rotfl: . Many thanks.

I tried it on the Expert baby oil so perhaps it works on some and not others.
Thanks for the tip about the wipes i will get those.
