LOL:rotfl: .. i was one of those women!!! I just lurvvve moneysaving!

Although, DH is seriously looking into a Boots Anonymous group for me, I'm sure there will be enough people here to join!

Will be going back at lunchtime though... they didn't charge me the correct amount for the Charlie and Lola playset.. don't like it when they diddle me!!

    Julie

I was there in fishergate this morning. These charlie and lola sets are £2.50 and was told they are 75% and not 90%. You may have seen quite a few left behind at the tills. I personally dont think it was worth £2.50.

It was funny, as I was there at 9.30, and the place was buzzing with ppl. I know its not usually busy at that time so it must have been all MSE's, as there were no signs up to say it was 90%. I was teh one that bought most of the mobile sim card readers at 80p.

went deepdale first and theres not much there. The SA, the lovely lady, who is always there in the mornings must think im a freak. I am always the first one there at the first sign of a sale.

Anyway in fishergate, i couldnt find the NO 7 clearance that were by the tills, anybody have any ideas where it has been moved??

    Thanks, Freda.

  • Morning everyone,

I checked out my local yesterday and was pleased to see that they had some stuff left.

Was there at 8.45am this morning and was first in store. Got the following

    12 x lynx sets @ £1.14
1 x panatone in a tin @ £1.20 (this is huge, so will i be when i've ate it all!!)
    3 x I love coffe mug @ £1.00
    2 x I love Tea mug @£1.00
    4 x Hot choc mugs @ 0.80p!!

receipt says that i saved £208.80!!!! Wouldnt have paid full price though. Hope my work mates like their coffee mugs!

All the lynx is for my OH as a set is cheaper than the deodorant! Wish i had got more! There was more on the shelves but thought i would leave some for other people.

  • Well after saying I wouldn't be going, I felt the Bootsing urge this morning and went to Blackpool. There was no-one else there about 9.15ish. Not much to buy either. THey had one type of crackers, £8 originally and 90% off, wrapping paper/cards, lots of the rose bath salts (£3 originally) and the Ted Baker speaker sets. And I bought... nothing! Am I cured?! Spent the money I saved in M&S and Primark instead!

Jodavid and Netimka - did you buy much? Hope you had a good shop.

Oh, couldn't find any tan wipes at Blackpool although they did have plenty of magazines although I forgot to take one, doh!

For people trying to use their skincare vouchers, also works on Sanctuary miniature Protective 24-hr Moisture lotion spf15, £2.50 each. SA said no-one had tried using the voucher on that before hehe!

    Morning,

Ive just been to Prescot boots and picked up some Blue Wahoo Wallet shower sets up for £1.20, 17 shimmer powder purses for 60p, pots of talc with the little puffy thing for 2p each (gonna try using some as carpet freshener!) xmas cards for 35p, gift tags for 10p. Did them in separate transactions to get the till spits!

Also got AC vouchers and got:

Botanics- buy one full size product and get a mini free, bought body bar reduced to £1 and got a mini body polisher for £2 free

3 olay regenerist thermal polishers- used 3 till spits and 3 300 points AC coupons, so really they paid ME 50p each to take them away :D

100 points wyb any cucumber product, got face wash for £1.39 so effectively 39p

100 points wyb and boots skin clear, got deep cleansing wash, costing £1.19

No7 pedicure set, reduced to £5.99 from £11.99, SA put 2 200 points vouchers through, so effectively cost £1.99!

Started the day with £14.97 in points, ended up with £27.92, goods worth £181, cost £33, and if you take todays points off, effectively only cost about £20!!!

    Not a bad day!! :D
