anyone know if the 90% off sale in dewsbury/wakefield/white rose centre/birstall is worth dragging my sicky achy body out of the house for?
I was at Birstall yesterday and the sale consisted of several dozen packs of gift tags.
Duplo that had been in the sale in Lincoln was back to full price.0 -
Just a quick question regarding the No 7 glitch....
picked up three things last night (one of which was the highlighter) and some wipes to disguise my bargains! The till recognised the 3 for 2, the mag voucher took off the free highlighter and I was left with £9.74 to pay. Tried to pay with points...SA said "NO, you can't pay with points, it won't let you". She wouldn't even try it.
Can someone have a look at the voucher and let me know if it says you can't use points to pay? She took the voucher off me and said she would have to keep it because she had scanned it - it wouldnt work again. I know this is rubbish.
Do you think I should ring CS?
It definitely does not say cannot be used with points!
And how does a bar code know its been scanned................what a pile of poo!
Phone CS and let us know how you got on!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -

I was outside waiting for them to open at 8.55 this morning (tunstall s-o-t)
Went in and picked up 3 ted baker speakers sets, they went through at 90% off £1.50, even though the signs still said 75%. The staff were unaware in this branch.
Lucky for me as i'm sure they would have brought what bit there was left.
We are going to collect a new car from Blackburn today so i'm hoping to call into a few boots stores whilst we're out and about.
xx:happylove

I went to a different store to order an online item with my vouchers, SA couldnt get it to go through so rang .com for advice, at my request! Got it through and item arrived this morning, its the wrong colour
Just phoned to be told I have to return it to the store and re order.
Have complained about the whole difficulty re.ordering online from store, and having to return it as an apology I have been credited 2000 points. :T
Also they are running an offer on parenting club for 10% off .com orders which I didnt get due to the whole order problem CS said they will credit me the value in points when the new order goes through.
2000 + 499= 2499 points added
2nd complaint on my 500 points voucher that wasnt accepted on mini mode. Asked to take voucher and goods back to store to be added, any probs for them to phone to add it.
2999 points compensated for my problems. :j0 -
DD came home for a flying visit the other day and saw my 75% sale 'present mountain' behind the sofa... I am banned from the 90% sale, partly because I already have the Ted Baker sets, and that was all that was left locally!
Mind, after she had acted shocked-and-horrified she did manage to reduce the pile a little - she took the No7 make up set back to uni!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
