  • Don't feel too badly about it - even if you'd been up early enough to see it in stock, you might not have been able to get it through the checkout. There were some real problems with the site this morning.

Thanks for saying that - it does make me feel a bit better as the last two times I did wake up I managed to order elc stuff but both times they were cancelled.

I'll be watching Grannies Attic on ebay to see if it turns up though!! :rotfl:
  • I managed to get some nice things in the 75% but have never been to a 90% with boots.

Is it generally worth it or is there hardly anything left. We all have bad colds today so decided not to go after all but I am wondering if I am missing a trick?

Also judging by the fact we are just having breakfast now we would only get there by 10am ish - do you think everything will have gone???

went to boots @ deepdale last night - there was a trolley full of stuff being marked down to 90% off. I was more interested in the No 7 self tanning kits for £1.50...thought I could get a couple with the free highlighter. Anyway, staff said "no, you can't buy those....the further reductions don't start until tomorrow, so the till won't scan at those prices".

Confirmation that the 90% off starts today....where is my prize?? ha ha

  • I had considered getting up earlier this morning, but not really a morning person and failed miserably (although I did dream of Boots buying!). With all the problems you've had, it sounds like a rather frustrating morning anyway. But I am pleased to have logged on and discovered the Botanics and Royal Jelly sets still available (yay!) so have managed to get them, along with some essentials for extra points.

Don't think I'll mange to get to Boots today for 90% off - although our tiny shop hardly has anything left anyway - but hope you all have a good time and get some great buys!
  • Can confirm 90% started today. In Chelmsford only crackers, paper and some of the magazine sets left - got a couple of boxes of crackers only. Now wondering whether to take back those I bought at 75% off tomorrow and buy some more today.

Can you do this? Because I've bought crackers and cards etc at 75% off. If I see the same stuff at 90% today I'll be peed off, lol.

Pinkytots: Thanks for the thorough post. Luckily I'm in Birkenhead today anyway so I think it'd be rude of me not to drop in to Boots while I'm there, lol!

anyone know if the 90% off sale in dewsbury/wakefield/white rose centre/birstall is worth dragging my sicky achy body out of the house for? i have a skincare voucher left aswell but even that isn't giving me the energy to go!

nice to see the "oldies" back aswell!

(hehe! they're gonna kill me for that!!)
Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!
