Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 15 - Post your finds here

I had 3 Sanctuary charcoal mask sachets and paid the 37p extra. Bargain. SA didn't think they were included in offer but tried anyway and it worked.
Has anybody managed to get the TD HANDcream with the facial skincare voucher? I've tried twice now (at weekends too) but the assistants pointed out that the voucher is for facial stuff only. No cheap facial stuff left on shelves and I could really do with some more handcream :mad:Ellie

I tried using the skincare vouchers on the trial Sanctuary Spa trial sized items but the SA wouldn't let me (I wished I used the self scan tills now. Has anyone tried using the vouchers in the self scan tills?).
Instead I used it on the mask sachets, but the SA would only let me use one voucher for one sachet.
Anyone know what the next voucher promotion is?
Every voucher I have ever tried on the self-scan tills brings up "Require assistance" - which brings the supervisor to read every voucher. I found you get more chance with a Saturday girl to override!DFW No. 344

Oh my gosh! I was followed by a not so subtle store detective at Crown Point, Bournemouth. I went in yesterday to return some unwanted toys. First I was told I couldn't return them there, then when I stood my ground SA made me wait 20mins while she was on the phone to head office. Of course she eventually refunded me. I then went and did my shop, I had 10 skincare vouchers, 3 Free baby Organics, 1 x Free baby water, and 3 Half price baby expert.
I did all this in 3 lots as I thought it a bit excessive to pay for 10 packs of wipes in one go. After my first transaction I went off to collect the next lot and I was followed by a female store detective. The 3rd time she litterally was right by my side. In the end I had to ask her to back off and give me some space, and that I felt harrassed and itimidated. She said 'I'm just doing my job, perhaps you should think about shopping somewhere else!!'. I was gobsmacked. I still paid for my last few bits though - stuff her.
I don't even shop in this store very often, I only went there as it was the only one with the TD wipes.
Phone their customer services and only report this to a senior manager.

I might buy them all and return them to the store.
Also does anyone know when 90% sale starts online
Thanks:o0 -
Does anyone know if you can exchange skincare products in Boots if the box is unopened? I used my last £5 voucher yesterday as I didn't know whether I would be able to get back to Boots by Tuesday. I wanted the TD eye brightener but they didn't have any so got line smoother cream instead. If I can get to another Boots on Tuesday I would like to exchange it if possible (and if they have any!).
I wonder if I take back all the TD items I bought with the till spits and declare myself allergic to it, whether they will refund me, then I can go and buy something that I really want.0 -

I went to Arndale centre yesterday, 1st visit to Manchester and there was not very much upstairs on the sale shelves. I don't know if they restack it everyday, perhaps someone on here who lives there can tell you. I was disappointed and didn't buy anything. My daughte (14) did buy from the clearance shelves situated down stairs by the self scanners at back some reduced sets because of damaged boxes etc. They had half price clearance stickers and then had another 75% taken off at the till so good bargains there. She will repackage and put cellophane & bow on, makes good pressy.
If I am up that way again will probably try the Trafford Centre.
Good luck.2013
