Not done anything since last post except for make tea and bake a cake. 2 of the boys had impromptu friends home.

I have had a use it up and decanting sort of day - just the open bottle of wine to go - after I have done both youth club runs which is where I should be heading right now!

    See you all later.

Mrs PP get yourself outside in the sun tomorrow - any daylight will help you but you need to make the most of thoes rays.

Pollybear - huge hugs to you. It's so hard living with someone with depression (my dad is an undiagnosed sufferer but we all know he's bad with it), hugs, hugs and more hugs to you and him.

Rach - have a fab, fab day tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you. Wishing you health, fun and happiness for years and years to come xxxxxx

DS has a nasty fall as his riding lesson. It was his first big fall and he literally went flying through the air in slow motion. Now I know how my mum and dad felt all those years we had horses. Anyway, he's had his tea but has a headache so i'll keep an eye on him.

Hubby flying in at 10pm and I managed to get him a haggis so i'm in his good books lol!

I'm going to do a HHC to make the place look a bit tidier. Speak soon xx
  • Have had a bit of a mad day today - chucking everything in sight - have never been brave enough to tackle ebay so instead took 7 bags of my stuff and 5 bagsworth wrestled out of mum's bedroom to the charity shop.

Did the dutiful daughter bit yesterday - went to the hospital and gave dad a stern but loving talking to - have managed to get out of him the true state of his finances so next week's main job will be to start scouring various websites and the CAB for advice on how to proceed with his loans/bills. To be honest, he looked relieved that I had brought it up and hopefully now, with the advice of this site and us Flyladies, I can get him and Mom sorted financially.

........then went to Mom's with her and we started clearing the train wreck that is her house. At least she can see the floor now on her side of the bedroom - next time, I'm sorting Dad's side speechless-smiley-040.gif. The boxroom - which I gutted and tidied 2 years ago is now chest high and there is only space to open the door speechless-smiley-040.gifspeechless-smiley-040.gifspeechless-smiley-040.gif. I'm going to carboot most of it but I need to sort it out first - yelp
    I'd rather be watching CSI!
  • Rach - hope that you and your future husband have the wedding day of your dreams and a long and loving marriage

Hiya, it's Friday evening at last! Hu-blummin-rrah.
I popped in briefly last night (well spotted Dusty!) just to catch up with your day's goings on but didn't post 'cos I'd done nothing fly-wise. I'd met ex-Mr Messy out of work for a drink and some tea, stayed out til 9 chatting and once I'd dropped him home ( no I didn't go in) it was too late to start anything here.

I should've posted last night while it was all fresh in my mind but hugs and happy vibes to those in need. Sticky plaster for Mudbath's boob. Sorry, that gets my crazy injury vote of the day!

I've absolutely no jobs planned whatsoever for the evening or the whole weekend. Guess I haven't looked hard enough.

    Evening

I'm pooped! I actually feel like I've run a marathon and every other person punched me on the way past... 4 hours of non-stop cleaning has done me in lmao who'd have thought it :o basically it's a weeks worth of flylady lists condensed into 4 hours minus the washing and flinging! got paid though so that cheered me up :D

My house is suffering though, really badly, so need to make a plan of action over the weekend on how I'm gonna fit it all in, I also have pack ups for littley to make for school now too as she doesn't get free meals anymore, so I think alot of evening dailies is a must! It'll sort itself out in the end.

Just got my tea in the oven then I'm gonna have a bath. Will make a list tomorrow and I'll also try and fit in a few of this weeks days that I didn't do, the bathroom is a must I know that!

    Laters x

Hi embb, I didn't realise you'd started the job already. A whole week's Flying in 4 hours does sound like hard work! Hope you find a new evening routine for your stuff in the next few weeks and don't have to go down the 'weekend catch up' route too often. You seem to be enjoying it though.. good on yer!
