:rotfl: just not possible Pigpen, but nothing you ever manage is. Happy Birthday to Mr Pigpen :D

Wondering where I put DS2s other shoes, I got him 2 pairs when they were 'buy one get one half price' and this morning when I have looked he's wobbled the soles off his current pair (5 weeks, inc when they were off school and hardly left the house, wish he'd walk straight) I just can't find the second pair anywhere......will keep looking.....oh and add fill lots of silly forms in that have just arrived to my list....
One day I might be more organised...........

Well I gave in, made him tea and toast. He drank the tea but 'may feel sick' if he ate the toast.

I have a feeling the ebayer who bought the steering wheel is a scammer, member since 02/01/08, no feedback, not paid yet. Bad vibes man...

Made an apple pie with the ones that were looking a bit sad in the fruit bowl. Made some french stick too.

Littles not been too bad, can tell when DD2 medicine is wearing off she goes red hot:eek: . DD1 wants to go on the barbie site (cos mummy sat down on the comp for 5 mins) so will let her do that while I hoover through.

Right I must think about tea too

    Hi everyone,

I had quite an early start to the day - the Ikea delivery people rang while I was in the shower at 7am to say they'd be here in an hour!

Thank goodness I got the garage finished yesterday afternoon! I just had to move my car out of the way, and shift one bike and a box so that they could unload easily. DS2 and OH helped unload and stack the stuff in the garage, so all done before the school run, and I can do what I like today, as I don't have to hang around waiting for them!

I've caught up with the bathroom, and will do a bit on the kids' room, although I expect them to do most of it themselves. So, as the sun is shining, I'm off out in the garden! I think I'll move my garden stuff from the back of the garage into the top greenhouse temporarily, as OH has a tendency to just chuck it around when he's looking for things and it really winds me up. If it isn't there, he can't!

HopeElizzy - best wishes for your parents, will be thinking of you all

dustykitten - self striping yarn, very little chance I shall have matching stripes on both socks! Are you gardening today?

boddy - sorry to hear about your neighbour.

shell - definitely lots of DVD's - valium for kids...hope they're feeling better soon

(((hugs))) to all the poorly ones, and those who have poorly little ones, or worse, poorly OH's

Hi folks, well my ideas of going back to work for a rest haven't transpired. 2 days with a household full of "'flu" / colds / upset tummies. Hey ho. So, I'm going to take a look at Thurs / Fri 's list, cross of that which has already been done. As I think I did a fair bit of it on Tues / Wed, and aim to complete the rest by the end of the w/e as Lil_m has kindly given us time off for good behaviour :j.

Whilst I remember, I hope that the weather wherever you are is glorious tomorrow Rach and that all goes swimmigly :)

    Thursday Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

Dusting - all those flat surfaces which have become fuzzy! (Even did top of wardrobe in DD's room!)
Clean window, sill and frame [/STRIKE]

Extra tasks, if you have extra time and want to do more, you could try one of these
[STRIKE] Clean skirting boards in one room
Wipe down a childrens bed frame/cot
    [/STRIKE]
    • 15 minutes ironing
    • Paperwork sorting, spend 10 minutes on it, little and often! Anything need dealing with urgently?
    • 27 fling boogie, time for the Friday Fling! Grab a bag and clear that clutter.
Not too bad, must clean the loo and do the ironing. Those are my main priorities.
After that I need to do some baking this w/e and perhaps, just perhaps I may get to do some sewing. One can hope!!

Afternoon - just whizzed through the thread so hello all!

Been swimming, DS given a snack, put to bed and in an half and a quarter I did:
    Hoovered downstairs
Cleaned up 2 piles of dog vomit *heave*
    Mopped kitchen and ulitly room
Dusted/polished lounge, dining room, hall, loo
    Stew made and in SC
    Kitchen S&S
    DW on
    WM loaded and on
    Spoke to MIL, rang DH
    Ironed one load of washing

WOOHOO! Am so pleased with that, just having a cuppa and crisps and then lunch for me and DS and then out - BY MYSELF!!! xx

No although I am tempted. Had my outside time on a really long hike over the golf course and back through the woods with a friend and her dog. Nice to catch up with her and had a coffee afterwards. She is somebody who packs so much into life that I feel inspired after seeing her.

Gardening is on the plan for tomorrow, after my mystery shop and trip to the library with DS3.

Today I need a list so going to do one now. Towels on the line, dalies done and ours and DS3 beds stripped. Just digesting my lentil soup - delicious and then I will set to getting those 2 rooms done.
