He has to lie on the sofa now... and he stinks... If he is that bad, then why has he not taken any painkillers?

tiamai, big hugs, men eh! My DP wonders why I leave him in bed, one less kid to look after!
boddy - sorry to hear about your neighbour.
Tracyg no, not awful, just normal!
shell, hugs for the little ones and you of course, I can imagine there will be a lot of 'counting to ten' today in your house as they test your patience.
mumofjusttwo - have you tried Argos? Sure they had them from about £60....

Well we're in the windy north east too, wind kept me awake a lot, I was trying to ignore the banging and clattering, when I got up the trampoline is at the other side of the garden, thankfully blown away from the house but still scary. Will have to get DP to help me move it as I can't lift it on my own (but the wind didn't have a problem lifting it!!) Conservatory roof is moving so much that I am suprised it is still on. It's whislting throught the windows which is annoying and I must cut the bush down which is next to the window as that was keeping me up clattering off the window. Trees are down in various parts of the village, thankfully all of ours seem to be still up but I noticed DP hasn't parked the car on the drive next to the tree.

Anyway, moaning of weather issues aside, DS1s room I think is on the priority to be tackled today. Both beds were changed yesterday so will leave those. His bedroom is a nightmare and haven't done much in there since we moved apart from keeping stuff off the floor and general clearing. We did do a lot of clearing before we moved but since then it's just been kept as tidy as we can, he needs a LOT sorting and clearing the old stuff especially with the extra since Christmas. Once we've sorted through I think we'll actually need another bookcase instead of a toy rack as he's got so many books.

    Ok, todays list for me

Dailies - vacuuming through downstairs, groom dogs, DW load/empty, 1 washer load, meals, S&S kitchen and bathroom
Post sisters birthday card !!!!! Must get her house number first.
Several 15 minute lots in DS1s room clearing clutter & sorting out
    Clear floor in DS2s room
    Clean both boys PCs
    Clean windows in boys rooms
Fix DS2s blind he's managed to pull off again
Check DS2s clothes for ones which are too small (request from school for spares as they have ran out)
Unpack the 'bag of clothes' I found which hasn't been unpacked
    Vacuum boys rooms
Get DP to call LXdirect, as that chuffing mattress is still in the hall!
Get DP to help me put trampoline somewhere else, no idea where yet
Help DP sort DS2s quad out for Sunday
Empty box with Boots order in
    Clean Sonic out
    Vacuum through downstairs
    27 fling downstairs
    Order another vacuum cleaner filter
Check online banking - pay bills
15 minutes on paperwork sorting (my 'needs to be filed drawer' won't close :o )
Weekend meal plan, see what we have in (budget ends Sunday so don't want to spend!)
Update my spending on www.spendingdiary.com (useful site that one)
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

    Hello all,
I haven't posted since going back to work after Christmas, although I try to keep up with the posts (hard with such a chatty lot!). I have an unexpected day off work today, so am going to do 30 mins work work, 30 mins house work, mainly flinging I think. Cuppa first, then I will begin my first half hour challenge.
Hugs to all, particularly those with poorly little ones.
Thinking of you Rach, how exciting!

skintscotslass - YES! I support Everton, and also hate Chelsea but only because two out of the four people in my office support them - including my boss..... Feeling outnumbered....

HopeElizzy - Sorry to hear about your Dad. Hope he's better soon. Sorry about your mum as well - I get IBS too and it's really not nice.

pigpen - How on earth did you make so much money on ebay last year? I really need to find some stuff to sell... Could do with extra cash to put towards our wedding next year!

tiamai_d - Is your OH getting man-flu? You best wait on him hand and foot - make his tea, rub his back, cook his dinner, change the channel, start his shower.... And you make sure he gets those painkillers soon. YEAH RIGHT! Men, eh???? :rotfl:

OH bday dinner with the IL's (to be) was nice last night. I had a chance to do some quick flying this morning whilst they were still in bed. S&S front room, put recycling and last nights dinner out, told WM to start in 7 hours to finish in time for me to get home and hang it out. Loving all those mod-cons!

Am making OH birthday dinner tonight. How long are bdays supposed to drag on for...?! Bday isn't actually until tomorrow but, he's out with the guys so it's nice dinner in tonight. Fillet steak, HM chips, carrot swede mash, sweetcorn, and peppercorn sauce. Mmmmm........

Anyone know if mattress toppers are any good? We bought a leather sleigh bed when we bought our house in June and the bed is lovely but mattress rubbish. Can't afford new mattress yet so, will 'top' it for now. I've bought one that has posture control as my back kills otherwise. Anyone know if they're any good?? Just need a quick fix for a few months!

Have a good morning everyone. Ash xx

Perhaps if I continue with climbing my Mount Everest of clutter, I will be able to do the same! I will make that one of my jobs for this weekend - find 10 items to sell on ebay.
