point out that in my opinion
You point out what you want i will do tois that allowed on your open forum
Its not my forum- my point of view-not my forum. I dont claim it to be mine do i?????mickeytaking.
I wasnt taking the mickey i was pointing at the fact someone thinks they deserve compensation for something they dont
I was pointing out that the op is so wrong if they think they were "supposed to " offer him compensation- for nothing.
If i want to laugh at something I will- nothing to do with you what I choose to do0 -
a quick trial at the Old Bailey
I think thats what some people in here look for when searching for compensation!0 -

Thats very naughty. You are not supposed to laugh at other people, however strange they are.
I had at least 3 nights interrupted sleep after eating these crisps AND, as my lawyer pointed out, I had somehow managed to suffer whiplash when eating them. This incident was over two years ago now but my suffering isn't over yet, I still get a "funny feeling" when watching re-runs of Baywatch and my lawyer says we can probably sue someone for that too.You can't go wrong with carpet bombing...0 -
I think that the subject of this thread has got totally out of hand - the OP bought chocolate in Whittards fully expecting it to be in date and it was not. If it was delicious is not the issue - it was 3 months out of date and as such Whittards not only had a DUTY to refund him for the chocolate as he had not received what he had expected (ie in date chocolate) I feel they had an OBLIGATION to offer a gesture of goodwill as well. Maybe the OP should not have used the word compensation..would this have made a difference??
Many supermarkets etc offer a "refund AND replace" scheme for goods that fail to please let alone are out of date (by quarter of a year!!)I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0 -

I didn't comment at all on your laughter. I responded to one of your posts. I didn't tell you when you can or can't laugh, or what you can or can't laugh at.
Pls be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps
Maybe to you its comp chasing, to the OP it was a genuine, 'do I deserve more than this for appalling service' question. The sort we are supposed to feel happy coming onto this site to ask.0 -
