No,I wouldn't do that! Although it does remind me of a lecture in Tactical Toileting....Some eejit actually tried this on excercise, not realizing it was a wind up!
1-Take sheet of toilet paper, fold in half, then half again.
2-Locate the center & rip off a 1cm circle & retain,unfold paper.
3-Stick middle finger thru hole & wipe bum with middle finger
4-When finished, cup thumb & forfinger under toilet roll & around middle finger, pull finger out of hole & discard soiled toilet paper.
5-Use retained bit of toilet paper to clean around the finger nail...

Thought I'd share some of my grandma's (gone too far) money saving tips. She was possibly the most frugal woman in the history of the universe and we have loads of funny childhood stories of her going the extra mile to avoid paying for anything.
My grandma never paid for a holiday in her life. But my mum and auntie have fond memories of cycling (on tandems) from Yorkshire to Norfolk (!) every year and pitching a tent (homemade from canvas) descretely in field. My mum thought this was a real adventure but they prayed it wouldn't rain because the tent wasn't waterproof in anyway, shape or form. Yikes!
My grandma never bought any clothes - ever! She made everything for the whole family (sigh) and had a bit of a deal going on with the man on the stall in the market. Not a single scrap of fabric was wasted, not even a button or piece of elastic. Old clothes just got remade into something else. Believe it or not we even had homemade knickers until we were old enough to go to M&S to buy our own. At the time it was a bit grim because we would pick a pattern and some fabric but it never quite turned out like the picture, or she would realise she didn't have enough of that fabric and would make something out of hideous old curtains. I remember being a teenager in the 80's and asking for a boob tube and mini rara skirt! Instead I got a very sensible a line skirt and waistcoat made out of grey wool!
Me and my sister laugh now and my kids don't believe us.

absolutely - though the tomatoes might be bit worse for wear!!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
