Someone i knew would [STRIKE]pinch[/STRIKE] collect toilet paper when she went about her daily travels. When i pointed out it was in fact stealing i was told it was ok, she would never take it from someone who she liked.:( She didnt see it as stealing she looked at it as taking 'souveneirs'This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I thought I was stingy about saving money but this neighbour, I think, goes over the score.
He gets up in the morning, stays in his pajamas until he has a cup of tea, then does the toilet, then has a shower and dresses.
How does he save on toilet paper?
Because he is going straight into the shower from sitting on the toilet he doesn't use any toilet paper.
Do others do this or is it just me that thinks it is a bit gross?
I think I'll stick to buying plenty of loo roll
Having said that, we do have a posh type of loo that showers you and dries you after you've....errrrmmmm.... 'been'. The downstairs bathroom was added to help me cope with my son's disabilities. He is doubly incontinent, and when he has a bowel movement, it can be rather messy to clean. If I sit him on the toilet, he can press a pad which then makes a pipe extend outwards and shower him with clean, warm water. When he lets go of the pad, the toilet automatically flushes everything away and warm air dries his bits and pieces0 -

Yeah! I just PMSL at thatthink that is meant to be short for sheet but it is rather unfortunate.
I am another who thinks this is a step to far......ew!!
I squash the roll when it goes on the holder, it stops my 3 pulling reams off the roll and wasting it.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Eh, I'm a TP miser as in I don't get why people pay 50 pence or more each for a roll but even I'd draw the line at not using any. If you don't have kids or mad people in your house a person generally only uses one a week. Doing without isn't a substantial enough saving.0

My Mum was a real tight one with toilet roll when I lived at home. She never had it on the roll and I used to have to ask for some each time. I got one piece for number ones and two for twos. I could have really done with a shower after my trip to the loo......0
