I have an account with ebay but after afailed attempt to sell 1 thing I just buy instead...
but I have got alot of stuff to declutter so I may just start again...then I think I might stick it all in the collection plate one sunday morning and it can go towards the church fund for the christmas day dinner for the poor...as it used to be called...now its usually people who are gonna be alone at christmas or homeless...a very satisfying way to spend christmas day...
go to early church service...
have a light lunch...
go to the church hall to make sure everything is going ok...
help out with it all having great fun all the time...
then once everyone has gone we have our's ...
there is just me & my DS at christmas now...so we don't reallt bother to much with the whole dinner thing & veggie out infront of the tele...we do our own thing...although he does help out at the church hall with stuff and we do spend alot of that day together...if there is one thing I do insist on its going to church on Christmas morning I mean this is why we are celebrating the day after all...and it is the magic of chistmas ...
Merry Christmas everyone...:santa2:

If your like me, the shopping frenzy starts with the first sign of tinsel on the telly ads and ends New Years Eve! Unless your super organised like my sister, who does her Xmas shopping online, you'll be rushing around on Xmas Eve trying to buy last minute gifts and paying inflated costs for the pleasure :-(0

^^I do a lot of mine online, especially the stuff for the kids. I usually wait till there's a sale/special offer/discount code or free delivery though.
My mum, aunt and I go through to Glasgow for a big day out shopping, but that's more for the christmas atmosphere and a chinese buffet lunch than the shoppingCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. I do most of mine in the months Oct and early Nov, then the first weekend in december my eldest daughter and I go to town, finish off get cards, have lunch out and generally enjoy the xmas atmosphere. As soon as my youngest is old enough we will take her with us - it's a really nice day out and I always know that from that point we're finished - looking forward to it already x0

I've managed to put aside £25 worth of Amazon vouchers to use towards gifts. I should be able to put another £5 per week aside from now til Christmas, which should go a long way towards gifts. Then we can just order them online. So much easier. I got them by using Bingoport - wonderful site. I am definitely going to do it next year - so that I can really build up the vouchers.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

I've saved one card of Tesco stamps, you need save £49 and they give the £50'th 'free'. Not a brilliant rate of return when you consider they have your money for as long as it takes to save a full card. Wilkinsons savings card is a bit better and although you can't buy a weeks groceries there it's good for cards, wrap, deccies, presents etc etc. Save £19 and they give you the £20'th 'free'. Don't know about other supermakets I'm afraid but someone will no doubt be along shortly with more info0
