I've been doing my bit for christmas. I've got £30 in John Lewis vouchers from Pigsback, £20 in Next vouchers from Shop & scan, £10 Amazon voucher from Test & Vote and about £10 on my Boots card. I have no idea what to buy people though :rotfl: .
I bought a nice candle set for some friends from Next in the xmas sales last year and I bought all my cards and wrapping paper too. I saw a half price Marylin Monroe mug for a MM mad friend yesterday so I'll pick that up for him. Only 14 more presents to find  . Am going to try and get one present a week from now on.0 -
I've been out today and bought a small pukka pad to carry about with me (the A4 one is too big
) where I will list all the gifts I want / have for people, plus all the other lists I end up with around Christmas :rotfl:
I was in town shopping with DD so I got some ideas of things she wanted although she was quite upset at having to leave some shops empty handed when she'd spotted something she wanted
I did manage to buy 4x2m rolls of metallic wrapping paper for £1 and 4 packets of 25cards for DD to use for her friends and for us to give out to people (instead of the Tesco ones I got in the sales last year which I would prefer to post to people, they're a little big to be carrying around "spare" whereas the ones I picked up today are just right ...honest gov' :rotfl: ) they cost 49p each :money: So all in all 8m of metallic wrap & 100 christmas cards (25 metallic) for £3 :T I'm happyCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Card Crazy - they've got a big clearout of Christmas stock. 4 cards for £1, boxed sets from 49p, wrapping paper 50p or 4/£1 if I remember rightly.;)
Poundland also had all their Christmas stock out at 50p per item. Just remembered that:rolleyes:
WHSmith had some bits out but not much. DD bought a colouring/activity book (I've told her it is going away until December 1st whether she likes it or not :rotfl: ) but it cost £1.99 so not much of a bargin.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I've started, I have about 20 cards stitched, just waiting to be mounted, & have knitted 1 scarf & 1 pair socks & am half way throught the next scarf.
Only 6 pairs of socks & 4 scarves to go!
I am going to take £50 out of our wage every month too & put that in the savings for the kids pressies & food. I should have started months ago :rolleyes:0 -

I always do it in one go. This year I've actually scheduled the weekend of 16/17 December for all three of us to sit down and wrap pressies. I'm sick of OH saying "What did we get my mum/dad/sister?" :rotfl: This is the last weekend before Christmas so it's the perfect time so I'll remember what people have got as well:rotfl:
