I missed out on the beef in gravy thing but do have 180 bottles of Johnson's talc sitting in boxes in my attic and a whole load of huggies nappies too.

Do you think tesco will ever start selling babies?

Until they do, being a single bloke with no kids, I'm just collecting all this stuff for no reason!
    ;-)

Thats just made me giggle, thank you xx
Nice Shoes & Expensive Designer Handbags, are my downfall!

I can't see anywhere it entioned of the extra points offer on wipes - coud someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks all.

Me neither, and I've checked 2 separate Tescos and both display the offer just on some J&J toiletries but I've got loads of those from the last offer.

Is the wipes deal just online? I really need some wipes so this would be the ideal time to stock up but I opnly ever shop in store.

Am going to do my main shop tomorrow so if someone could help I'd be grateful.

Like i said before, the wipes offer was done with vouchers through the baby club mailing and has long since ended. Sorry.

Yes, but many of us are collecting Clubcard Points - From Tescos not Homebargins , and gaining £4 worth of deals that will pay for days out and holidays, for a £3 spend is not bad - although not quite as good as some previous offers.

Firstly r&r was replaced over a year ago with dtd {double the difference} so what you should have had was £1 refund the barcode stuff is all bollix from somebody who know's no better or worse still does know better and screwed you, next time your in I'd go back for your extra 50p. Having said that they may then come up with some other fanciful hurdle like "ah but now you've left the store" it does not count or "dtd only applies to items purchased on a Sunday between 16.05pm and midnight" or "dtd only applies if you are over 75 and accompanied by both parents at the time of purchase."
I've been overcharged by Tesco two weeks running whereby multi-save offers weren't deducted. Last week I queried why I hadn't received double the difference back and (without apology) I was simply told that I hadn't been overcharged - just the discount hadn't been applied - ??? I asserted that I had in fact been overcharged and I was dismissed with just the overcharged sum, being told that 'double the difference' didn't apply in this case. I've stopped shopping at Tesco online because 2for1s and other multi-save offers haven't come off my bill on each occasion I've used this service, requiring lengthy phone calls to sort out - although I was offered a £10 discount eventually as I had been messed around so much. Although I do like collecting Tesco clubcard points for obvious reasons, I really don't like their customer service. This week I'm off to Sainsbury's for significantly better customer service (even without dtd), albeit with a lousy Nectar points collecting system. When are Nectar finally going to smarten up their act and attempt to compete with Tesco?

but there is for SOME people, i am collecting Tesco vouchers towards an OU course fee, you cna't get money of an OU course in any other way so the list value of say £100 is the price you would pay. If I collect £25 worth of tesco vouchers I can exchange them for £100 of OU deals and get my course that way.

Now I do have a toddler and I find that although I can buy cheaper wipes they make his bum sore (I take the point about the asda ones but I dont' have an asda nearby).

So stocking up on packs of the johnsons wipes which I will use anyway whilst they give away these extra points DOES in fact 'give' me 'free' vouchers to exchange for a monetry value.

I dont' get acutal cash in my hand if thats the type of profit you mean, but I certainly save myself having to find the actual cash to pay for my course! So at the end of the day my bank account has more money in it simply by buying a product I use anyway.

That's why I said it is of benefit if you were going to buy whatever you are using the clubcard points for in the first place whether or not you had the points.

In your case, you're decided to do a course which you would have to pay for, you discovered clubcard deals get you a discount on this course, you boosted your clubcard points by buying the baby wipes. Therefore it is of value to you and you do effectively make £1 'profit' per pack.

However, if I went out and bought 50 packs, collected the points and then searched the clubcard points catalogue and exchanged them for theme park tickets for instance, I haven't made £1 profit per pack at all, I have just obtained heavily discounted theme park tickets - but I have still paid something for them! Therefore there is no £1 profit in sight ;)

Good luck collecting the points! ;)

Don't you have to buy 2 from a list of products @~£2.00 each to qualify? or am I looking at the wrong item?

Tesco have a new offer on at the mo, until 12th of Feb:

    3574660306859_90.jpg
Johnsons Baby Skincare Wipes 4 Pack 256 = £5.00 you get 150 points

    3574660309348_90.jpg
Johnsons Baby Skincare Wipes Fragrance Free 128

    = £3.00 you get 100 points

There are other types of Johnsons wipes included in the offer (unfragranced, etc)

Also if you had any extra points from the baby mailing, like 125 points on Huggies wipes, they should also work on these:D
  • Wipes are such a waste. They add to landfill and are expensive. I keep a pile of flannels in the kitchen for wiping faces and hands with water. In the nappy bag and nursery I keep cotton wipes, toilet paper and camomile spray. Works a treat. Saves a fortune. Quite good for nappy rash too.

    Recipie for botty spray
    1 cup strong camomile tea
    1 drop lavender essential oil
1 drop tea trea essential oil
    10 ml sunflower oil

Mix it all up, put in a handy container. Either soak cloths in solution and store or put in 2 small spray bottles (1 for nursery, 1 for bag). Apply to botty, dry botty with a cloth. Make fresh up once a week. Wash cloths with your cotton nappies or chuck in with your household cleaning cloths 60 degrees wash.

But all the above said, I'm sorry I can't offer you any extra clubcard points for your deals ;) .
Nuts just take up space where chocolate ought to be.
  • Well, we are planning to use our points on a villa in France. Shouldn't cost us a penny - especially as we have earned a huge number of points buying the wipes. Considering we always buy these wipes anyway, and bearing in mind we planned a villa in France this summer, we're in a win-win situation .... unless we find we can't rent a villa anywhere!
