points are added at the till automatically as long as the store does it. some of the metro stores don't do the offer

    brilliant thanks...!!

went a bit overboard with the whole talc thing.. in fact it almost paid for a family holiday (add the magnetic frames offer and it did pay for a family holiday)...

I love this sort of thing, thanks a lot.

I missed out on the beef in gravy thing but do have 180 bottles of Johnson's talc sitting in boxes in my attic and a whole load of huggies nappies too.

Do you think tesco will ever start selling babies?

Until they do, being a single bloke with no kids, I'm just collecting all this stuff for no reason!

The real "value" of points is about 2x. I wouldn't consider points at the full 4x value because you can buy points/vouchers at the value of 2x to the point. Thus, you aren't really making money here.

The market value of 100 points is £2, so you are effectively getting £2 off a £3 spend. Plus, there is time involved with doing point conversions or selling points, so it's £2 + effort on your part.

Not to down this deal, but just note that it's not like you're automatically earning £1 each time you do this.

yes in away your not making anything as wipes like these are £1 else where if you shop around, £1 shop, nettos ect... all have wipes on offer.

  • For the people collecting baby products with no real use for them, have you thought about donating them to a local creche or similar?, I'm sure most cash strapped mums would be glad of some freebies.

(And for the single men amongst you, it might be a good ice-breaker!)

There are deals that need your name on so you can't buy from others, but for days out I buy from ebay.
  • As the 1st post states you will only benefit from this if you are saving clubcard points to convert into deals!!!! Read!

If you want to make actual money then no this deal means nothing to you.

Also....as a Mother of a 18month old....I certainly will not be buying £1 wipes from Netto to wipe his precious little bottom with!!!!!!!

Off I go to Tesco's to stock up!

To all those with stock of wipes/nappies in their loft....have you ever thought of offering to sell them to another MSE to a) make money b) pass on some savings to a MSE who needs them??

    Just a thought!
