  • Hi guys, I got the Dell 1500 that has built in tv out. I plugged the s-video connection into a scart plug adapter and then into the tv, but I get a black and white picture.

The scart plug adapter has s-video, red, white and yellow input and a switch that has cvbs and y/c options. The cvbs does not pass give a picture but the y/c gives a black and white picture. What do I need to do to get a colour picture?

    Thanks,

    Nick.

I have a feeling not all TVs have an S video input through the scart connection I have the same problem watching through an old CRT portable.
  • I'm no help sorry but i think you will get a better response on the techie board so maybe you should post a thread on there to get your answer about the tv.

    Good luck
