nowt wrong with latch key kids (so long as there of an age to be safe, i think it teaches them independance. did for me.160,
I SOOOOO know what that feels like (from the experimenter's perspecitve, I mean) as my kids, especially my son, when I am cooking something a bit unusual always ask me: mum, is it a proper recipe or is it an experiment?
After many successful and a few yukky experiments, they eventually trust my food now and have starting experimenting themselves when they cook their own meal after school (yeh, latch-key kids, I know..... :-[)

My mum always used to say the sh*t with sugar thing.
My dad used to hate the whining thing from me and my brother.
' DAAaaaaaaaAAAADDDDDD' what's for dinner? so we were always told 'Windy Pie and Fart Pudding' !
Always made me double check when we had steak and kidney pie Hehe!0 -

We had Catrina's pizza last night it was yummy :P, thanks Catrina.
It cost a bit more than £1.25 though because I only had the herbs in the cupboard.
So has anyone got any ideas what can I do with the left over flour, yeast and cheese? (except a chesse cob/ roll/ barncake/ sarnie)When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0 -

I use Asda's pizza base mix for making my own pizzas. (29p in a little green packet in the baking aisle) That way you don't end up with tonnes of leftover flour/yeast that you can't use.0
