Thebeautyroom.com has a free gift (worth £30) with your first purchase. The gift is a set of gatineau products, which I love. The cheapest item I found was £5.50 (nail polish remover, plus p&p.

I bought a few of these a couple of Christmases ago when they were on 2 for 1 in Boots. They contain eye shadow, lipstick, lipliner, eyebrow pencil, blusher, mascara , all the brushes etc- just about everything you need in one handy box. Even though you usually end up with 2 eyeshadows you never use I find them particularly useful for holidays as the small box is so easy to pack.
Boots haven't got any and tell me they only do them at Christmas.
I have seen some very expensive ones in airport shops. Has anyone come across a cheap site / source for these?.if i had known then what i know now0 -
Someone earlier mentioned using Haemorrid cream under your eyes DO NOT DO THIS ! it thins the skin under the eyes and is very dangerous to use on a regular basis. Some stupid magazines sometimes mention this but the only thing to use on your eye area is products especailly for it.
Thanks to the other OP about liz earle have always been swaying to try this so will put an order in. Personaly I tend to go round the beauty counters getting lots of freebies which last me a while plus save me money buying something that does not suit me. I tried 17 different eye creams before I found one that suited me, imagine the cost if i had bought the full size !
Also try WOW WOMEN for more expensive makes of cosmetics.0 -

Places like Poundland or The 99p Store are great for shampoo's, conditioners, toothpaste etc. I would personally steer clear of things like Veet Waxes tho as the packaging always seems to be in Polish or other foreign language and you can't read the directions..unless you can read Polish etc!ElvenPrincess :A say's "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil"0

Has anyone else tried https://www.makeupmadness.co.uk? I've not found anyone any cheaper. Of course there's p&p, but a few of us ordered together and split the postage between us! And we got our makeup the NEXT day.0

There are loads of sites on Google (some Health based) that do advocate temporary use of pile cream for under eye bags. I have commented as Martin's money saving tip led me to this forum. I'm not sure just because one poster suggests not to do it, that that is enough reason to be convinced not to do it.
My mother has, to the best of my knowledge, always used it, hearing it recommended on a radio prog years ago. She's 80 and looks fabulous.
I am not for one minute suggesting that we should all rush out and buy some, but it might be worth "googling" around and then making your own informed choice.

Its a site where you list things to swap and it has members from all over the world. I know that might sound a bit risky to you but it has a feeback area for all the members so you can figure out if someone is trustworthy or not. It also has a product review section with reviews on thousands of different products so its very useful to check out before buying an item. There are message board sections too. I've been a member for since December last year and I love it.
As suggested by some of the other members on this site, ebay is a great place for buying cosmetics at a discounted price. I like MAC products but I don't have anywhere local to buy them so I often use Ebay to track down the items I want.
If you have an Ethel Austin store near where you stay then I'd recommend going in to check out their cosmetics section. My local store often has Rimmel lipsticks for £1.
I hope this info is useful to some of you!
Thanks

If you use Bare Escentuals makeup, try https://www.thecolourcafe.com. It's an American site that sells most of the products at least 1/2 the UK cost and some at 1/3rd of the UK cost. It will tell you on the site that you can't place online orders, but all you need to do is download the order form and email it to them at the address on the site.
If you keep the cost of each order to not higher than $40 (you might be able to go a bit higher than this, but I'm not sure exactly - you should check it out if you want to order more than this) you don't get stung for any taxes when it's sent and postage has never been more than $6. Products take about 1 week to arrive and I've never had a problem with them and ordered loads over the last year.0 -
Hi,
I'm pretty new to this so bear with me!
I use dermalogica skin care products and I found a good website that offers 20-30% off the RRP of most Dermalogica products. It also has products by Fake Bake and St Tropez, among others. They offer free delivery to UK and Ireland and all orders over £30.
The website is
https://www.care4yourskin.com
The best bit is that with every order they send you 3-4 samples of dermalogica products. Great if your going on holidays!
Hope this helps! :j0
