You're also going to have problems with the songs that have long intros - i've had a few in this scout room. One in particular springs to mind - it had about 1 minute 22 seconds of classical piano and i'm just starting to write how much I quite like classical music in cases like this when all of a sudden, a metal anthem kicks in and takes me by surprise.

so you'll be writing away in word how much you're not keen on classical music, while you might think the piano playing is pretty good and you'll paste your review in at the minute mark and move on - completely missing the whole point of the song and the fact it was actually a metal song and not classical.

so you'll likely get the artist complaining to STP for a completely inaccurate and irrelevant review because the song is a metal song and it's clear the scout didn't listen to it because he's reviewed a classical song instead.

Just reviewed a hip hop track that had a piano providing the backing, I just found it an absolute joy to listen to at such a late hour

Ok, this is realy realy ticking me off. The songs keep freezing for about 30seconds so i cant review them and its lowering my earnings alot.

I'm not going to have a go because your only a kid, But people are actually trying to make something of their lives on that site, You are completly ripping off STP & the artists. £15 might be alot of money to you, fair do's go and get a paper round or something... But dont play about with people's music, alot of people worked really bloody hard to record their tracks.

it's going to be one of those days .. just started a session this morning and rated the first track a 7 and the second track a 6.

went from 95.05% to 93.83% in the space of two songs .. :rolleyes:

WTH? The minute in which it is playing is when i review the track. Music is my life and i do music myself. I've being doing music and performing since i was 5. Why would i rip the artists. My review are always at least 5 lines and i only type constructive feedback. I'm a fast typer so this isn't a problem for me. For you to accuse me wrongly saying that i rip off artists is plain wrong. I know what it is to be an music artist and to put hard work into your music. I would never rip off an artist and it hurts when you say i am.

Ok, about the copy and pasteing buisness. It means you get banned for copy and pasteing the SAME reviews after each other, You are allowed to start writing while the music playing, Or the scripted box with the music in it wouldn't let you paste it at all.

the point that is being made here is that you're abusing the system because cutting & pasting is not allowed in the STP terms and conditions.

personally, i don't think you can be truly accurate in your review if you start typing as soon as the song starts - bear in mind my post about the metal song that had over 1 minute 22 seconds of classical piano at the start of it.

but then you make your bed and all that - you are running a very high risk of being banned from the site because STP do monitor the reviews, so on your head be it.

Cutting and pasting, however you do it, is not allowed.
