The music box in which you place the reviews and the like is made with flash and has a text box. It will have been specially designed so people cannot cheat the system. So if you were not allowed to paste, Why would the text box be scripted so you can? I totally understand that it might be wrong but for the other person to call me an artist ripper when im an artist my self is wrong.

and i got the idea from the person that earlier posted on this thread, Did you guys have a go at him? No.

to be fair...surely the site would make you listen to more than a minute of the song before reviewing if they were that bothered about scouts listening to the entire track.....?

the date and time of your reviews will be logged on the main STP server.

so if you're knocking out your reviews in little over 60 seconds then your log would look something like this :

13/12/08 - 10:00am - <review text> - <scout id>
13/12/08 - 10:01am - <review text> - <scout id>
13/12/08 - 10:02am - <review text> - <scout id>

then it's not difficult to work out that you're cutting and pasting really is it ?

and this applies to anyone who uses the site to cut and paste. i'm not having a go at all, i'm just trying to point out that you could easily get yourself banned.

Deary me, I didnt call you an artist ripper, I think you need to have a re-read of what I said. How would you feel if you found out that all that work you had put in and also the amount of your future profits and control of your "art" was being ripped off by PEOPLE that were more concerned about earning money than the future of your music.

You say your an artist yourself? Just think about it. STP isnt about making money really quickly, its about really hard work, dreams being made reality and having some fun.

You claim music is your life but seem to have a pretty shoddy way of showing it.

From reading some of your posts you seem like a nice lad, albeit a little mis-guided in this case.

The rules state that you cant copy & paste, whether the scripting allows you to or not, You arent allowed to shoplift but there's not a great deal stopping you from doing it is there?

haven't tried today - the opinion seems to be that withdrawal works better in firefox.

I only use firefox, but it keeps saying the page terminated unexpectedly. Which is a shame!

Just listened to the most terrible piece of rubbish - it was someone pressing random 'noise' keys on a keyboard - alarms, phones, birds for over 8 whole minutes... I rated it 1/10 and dropped a whole percent!!! How anyone can have rated it higher is beyond me. Sigh...
