Yay! I've managed to list some hair stuff on a different forum and somebody has snapped the whole order up!! It had been sat in a drawer for months as I have stopped hennaing and my hair is cut off all short now. I've got £58 and its all gone straight into my Paypal account. Its saved me listing it all on ebay as separate lots and paying loads of fees!

On another note I'm mega annoyed at stupid public sector pay offers. Teachers have been given 2,45% and us nurses have been told to keep inflation down and accept an offer of 1.9%. I'm not begrudging teachers (OH is one and I know how hard they work) but I can't see how they can justify such large gaps in pay offers. My cost of living has gone up just the same as a teachers, yet we get offered 0.55% less

Dorry - I sympathise; I had the bug last week. Was off with it from last Tuesday and only really felt better this morning. The cramps are awful, aren't they? I found 1/3 pure apple juice and 2/3 boiled water really helped keep my bloodsugar stable, but I was 'explosive' at both ends for a couple of days which was no fun ... sitting on the loo with my head in a bucket ...

sola, thank you x I haven't been sick, but after 3 pregnancies and hyperemersis (when you ca't keep anything down) I am really good at not being sick, I have felt sick and those stomach cramps are awfull. I kept falling asleep and then dreaming all sorts of werid things that did not make sense, then waking up with those cramps:eek:

How lond did you have cramps for ??

I have some apple juice downstairs, will try that drink thank you:A

Afternoon everyone, hope everyone is well and having a good day.

The 2 loaves of banana bread I made yesterday and all but gone, me and Mr Sparkle have no willpower!

So today I'm making another banana loaf, some carrot and coriander soup and tea is homemade pizzas.

I'm having a moral dilema. Ordered new pans and cookware off tesco direct, got an answerphone message today saying the pans had been damaged in transit and I'd be refunded the £30 for them. Order arrives and pans are there and undamaged, it's the pyrex casserole dishes that are missing and they only cost £8 total. Trying to decide whether to appreciate my good fortune and keep my mouth shut or phone tesco and admit it to them.

Im with dorry - i would keep them and not say anything. After finding their own brand bread flour has gone up to 75p today (from 62p, and before that 45p) im sure a few pots wont go amiss!!!!

dorry - just read your last post - have you tried sucking ice cubes? they might help keep you hydrated.

I'm having a go a making a Mousaka today and have been to the gym, and of course the usual run around with the kids, school and swimming/ballet and now my DS2 has started football and wants to start beavers in March when he's 6 - phew! Still it keeps you busy and stops you worrying about unnecessary stuff dont it?;)

Well im back and feel so positive!! There are only 4 of us in the group including me and im the only female, 2 that started last week and me and another chap that started today. The adviser is lovely went through all our options, took our carbon monoxide reading!! Mine was the highest in the group but still not at a unbelivably high level (or so she said!!) she said that we will have this reading taken every week and calls it her lie detector!!
I have opted for the 24 hour patches after talking it through with her and have set my quit date for this fri!!
So fingers crossed iv took the step of joining the support group so hopefully this time im going to do it!!!

Sparklewing, Treat it as a gesture of goodwill, has the money arrived back yet? You can always pay it if they ask.
Mary, what a mess, is it any wonder these kids just jump in a car. They try and do the right thing and get kicked in the teeth at every turn.

Ok, off to sort out lunch, the beast is stirring.

Paid by credit card so won't show on statement for a few days. Think I'll leave until then at least. Makes up for my burst yoghurt and out of date pears they sent me last week that I never got around to emailing them about :o

Me and Mr Sparkle are using the patches, we started on the first after deciding our cigarette spend was out of control we were going through 60-80 between us a day!

It's alot easier than expected. We've each had one bad day, luckily on different days so we could keep each other going but apart from that it's been fine. Although I do still keep reaching for the packet absent mindedly

We also got a taxi yesterday and the driver was obviously a smoker, never realised how disgusting it smells! Glad I don't smell like that anymore we both felt sick from it.

    Good luck with quitting xx

well I have had a really unproductive morning and lunchtime. I had better pull myself together this afternoon. I have been enjoying pottering about, perusing the internet and watching some tv!

A man just delivered my new bank cards though - all very exciting as it was the first time I had to sign my new married name!!!!
