Originally I had decided against joining Toluna as when I googled I found several comments about poor data security for personal details which put me off

There is a way, which I'm not going post here, of finding out peoples real names and email addresses.

Toluna sucks big time - they are the worst company for customer service , applying points to your account when they are supposed to, having to go 1/2 or 3/4 way through a survey beofre they tell you that you dont fit the profile of thwta they are looking for etc.

was with them for just under a year and got about £70 of sainsburys vouchers from them - but never again NOT WORTH IT

I have just received a response to my contact of 19/11 regarding surveys to which I was invited in September but have not yet received the reward for my participation.

Instead of the whole lot having been dealt with, less than half have been, and I have been asked to wait another 3 weeks for the others to be credited. This would make a minimum of 12 weeks since I completed any of the surveys in question. I was fairly sure there used to be something on the site (I think in FAQs) saying it should be 6 - 8 weeks maximum but having had a good look round this is or anything similar is no longer on the site.

How long do you think they expect us to wait to get the points?

£70! in one year- with toluna?!!! WOW! If they paid me that much I would be laughing- you must have either been very lucky, or beein doing surveys for them 9-5, 7 days a week! I do all the ones they sent me, its still taken me nearly 6 months to get just about £10 worth of points!

I agree!. It took me about a year and a half to get a £10 voucher :D . The new points system is good though, miles better then before. I got enough for a £10 voucher last night. I looked and i'd been credited with 10,000 for doing a survey  . So points from email surveys are been added :j

I used to average £70 a year too, but I got Amazon/HMV vouchers. It was a lot of hard work, but used to be worth the effort until they changed all of the rules, now it is just a chore and I don't bother anymore.

There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

That's a common complaint, but you have to realise that thousands of people apply to test each product, and usually there are only 50-100 of an item available, so your chances of being selected are minute.
