I'm in the process of taking advice about Toluna, with a view to making an official complaint about non payment for surveys done.
I'll post back when I know more about it.
Who do we complain officially to? I have been on a US site called survey police and there is a (what I think is a) regulatory body called the BBB, and this seems to be quite an effective way of getting problems and issued resolved. Do we have such a thing in the UK? Surely Toluna are governed by some marketing body that we can all complain to. I have a problem with my personal data, and I cannot amend this myself. I have been emailing various people since August, but have only received holding emails to say this has been passed onto the IT dept. My points will expire before I get to redeem them at this rate, and I am getting really frustrated at the way that this company are treating me and the other people who they need to keep their company going. After all - without us, there would be no them!0 -
Just got my £15 Amazon voucher code that I submitted on 28th October. My first one from Toluna, so happy...even though I waited a few weeks.
Got a MySurvey voucher half hour after I submitted it today. Wish Toluna were that quick.0 -

Toluna is French, well thats why my vouchers come from. So the BBB which is for American companies.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740 -
Add me to the list of complaints, I've still not received 76000 points that disappeared after the merger, and they haven't replied to any of my emails.
I've stopped using them now but if you do find a way to complain, please post it on here0 -
I am still getting some surveys not registering in my account at all, they should show as 'project open' or 'prize draw' but they aren't there at all. Latest one today, survey 1124559 a GFK consumer one about broadband/tv packages for 1000 points. Only pennies, but the point is they are promising payment and not fulfilling it.
This time I was able to take a screenshot of a page which confirmed I'd finished the survey before I got the generic Toluna confirmation (theirs are useless as they all have the same URL so aren't specific enough to be proof). As they have basically called me a liar in the past I'll see what response I get this time.
I won't hold my breath, I have complaints going back to early Oct which have not been responded to yet. I'm still looking to make an official complaint, but have yet to hear back from the UK European Consumer Centre (UK ECC).0 -
I had initially got in touch with consumer direct, and asked them to point me in the direction of the right place to complain to this is the reply I received:Based on the information you have provided the key legal points in response to your enquiry are as follows:
In general terms, there may be a case that the trader could be in breach of contract for not providing suitable payment for the service that you have carried out. You may have a damages claim against trader, however you would need to check your contract terms. Those would normally be available on trader's website.
According to the trader's website, it's registered office is in France. This would mean that UK law may be more difficult to enforce.
I would advise you to contact European Consumer Centre, who can offer detailed advice, when a customer has a complaint against a trader who is based within an EU country.

I emailed them a few weeks ago, but have yet to receive a reply - it's only just outside of their own 2 week target though. We shall see.0 -
Unbelievable - I got a reply after an hour and a half:Dear member,
Thank you for your e-mail.
The points will be credited at the beginning of December.
I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that is caused by this.
Yet other complaints going back over a month have yet to be answered.0
