I've never been awarded points for creating opinions either - I did a few as a test but got nothing for them and don't know why as they were over 80 words long and not duplicates - that's the only criteria in the FAQ. I might email them about it...
Do you get points for replying to other people's topics? The FAQ doesn't make that clear at all. It just says 'opinion'. You can leave your opinion on someone else's topic...
I suppose I can see why people bother with opinions if we get paid for them - but what about the poll questions? No one gets points for creating those do they? (I mean the non-sponsored polls.) So if you don't get points for making them or points for answering them, what's the, er, point of them?!
Hi, You can get points for polls but you need at least 500 people to vote before you get any points on them and that is difficult to get.
You only get points for replying to other peoples topics if your reply is 80 words min. You can get points (100 points each) for a max of 50 80+ word opinions a month whether they are yours or replies to another member.
Replying to other peoples topics helps you get replies on yours as most members will reply to yours if you have done theirs. I think it also helps you get promoted so then you get the bonus advancement points, Toluna won't say exactly how you get promoted but I got promoted (up 2 levels) when I had been very active replying to peoples opinions.
I don't think it is wise to have too many of your own topics as you want them to get a reasonable amount of points before you create new ones.
If you have any topics running you would like me to reply to, PM me with your Toluna name & at least one of your topic subjects so I can find you on there & reply.0 -
Still awaiting my vouchers
On a more positive note though I seem to be earning points a lot quicker this time round - the sponsored polls seem to be worth more points now - makes me happy
xxxJust started cashback-ing - makes me feel less guilty when I impulse buy!0 -
I do think that your first voucher is the hardest, I think its like a test to see if you can be bothered. It took me about 3 months to get my first voucher and then ever since then I got more and more surveys earning 1 voucher every 4-5 weeks.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

Did a survey from a sponsored poll and it has asked if I can attend a group discussion and states it will pay £50!
didn't get screened out & at the end it asked for my contact details, mobile phone number etc so I am not sure if that means I have been selected or if they get lots and then select who they want from a list.
Anyone else had this one, it was about consumer opinion on future Television & Audio.0 -

yeah they will have alot of people especially the ones in London that can get there easily, doesn't say how long you would be in London, might be hrs and hrs, playing with prototype 3D tvs. I still don't get why they are new, I saw 3D tvs in a Bangkok department store 6 yrs ago, used to make me feel sick looking at the spinning credit card advertSurvey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740
