Watch out for the survey about iPad style devices, paying 4300 points for 35 minutes. I just spent 45 minutes on this and answered about 140 questions - then got screened out! I'm going to email a strongly worded complaint...

Isn't this all extremely time consuming? I like the sponsored polls and short surveys.

There are never any sponsored polls on the irish site:mad: and I have only ever gotten 1 survey :mad: Anyway i have got a lot of free time since my exams are over :j

Not quite sure why you're so excited. Toluna haven't given me any points for the opinions I posted before/during their 'troubles', so I shan't be posting any more till the situation is clarified. In any case, I believe that as soon as a decent number of people start using the site it will crumble (again) and the topics will be removed (again). This will probably happen tomorrow, but it will certainly be before the next time they are due to add the points for opinions.

:jJust got 1,000 points on mine as someone has just replied on it, it had reached 30 last month but I had reached max then so didn't get the points.:j

Grr to the opinions coming back - just been waiting over ten minutes to log in and getting error messages all over the place again

I've never been awarded points for creating opinions either - I did a few as a test but got nothing for them and don't know why as they were over 80 words long and not duplicates - that's the only criteria in the FAQ. I might email them about it...

Do you get points for replying to other people's topics? The FAQ doesn't make that clear at all. It just says 'opinion'. You can leave your opinion on someone else's topic...

I suppose I can see why people bother with opinions if we get paid for them - but what about the poll questions? No one gets points for creating those do they? (I mean the non-sponsored polls.) So if you don't get points for making them or points for answering them, what's the, er, point of them?!

:jNow have been awarded points on 4 topics since they came back on, 8,500 points in total so not bad for within less than half a day.
That added to the points I got early in the month before they took the topics off means I have now got my max for the month (15,000 points) on opinion topics.:j
