I have been close to leaving toluna (test and vote) for a while now, but i keep giving them another chance-how silly am i. Im still fed up of starting a survey and then not being suitable, or completing a survey and then having to wait 6 months (if im lucky) for my points!

I really should give up i think.

    keely.
I think you should stick with them till you reach payout as it will be a waste to let all your hard work go to nothing.

I still can't convert my Toluna points to iPoints so I've sent an email to ipoints asking when the link is likely to back between the 2 sites. I'll post the reply (if i get one) on here.

Don't know what to spend them on though, not too keen on HMV so will let my hubby spend them on whatever he likes.

My HMV voucher arrived too! :)

    And this e-mail...

Due to a technical problem during the last week you have been credited with 2000 points for every time you completed the personal interest surveys. The interest surveys are normally worth 500 points and this bonus is only paid for completion when we have some new questions to ask you or you haven’t updated your information for a while.

Unfortunately some members abused the situation and we have had to cancel these points. These points have been removed from your account.

We have also cancelled all voucher orders between the 14th and 17th January so if you have ordered during this time your points will have been credited back and you will need to reorder.

The surveys we asked you to update have been registered and the usual 500 points will be credited in the near future.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    Kind regards,

    The Toluna Team

I got that email too, it might explain why they cancelled my reward order from 15th January. I was a little annoyed with the way it was worded though:

'Unfortunately some members abused the situation and we have had to cancel these points. These points have been removed from your account.'

I didn't abuse anything - I merely updated my interest surveys as requested, and they simply cocked up as usual.

My thoughts exactly. I don't mind them making mistakes, but when they start sending emails like that...

I'm only a survey or two away from a voucher, and when that comes, I'm quitting.
