the worst thing is ear piercing. there was an article in pregnancy magazine about this, apparantly in Spain it is common to do it to baby girls as young as 6 weeks old...disgusting!

Pumpkin Patch do some headbands and also Primark!

I had to invest in one for a wedding as I was fed up of people referring to my daughter as a he (even when wearing dresses or a bright pink top saying I am princess), I guess its cos of the short hair!

Tell her that when she's 16 and is moodily asking you why you dressed her like a cheapo Easter Egg  Poor little thing!

i agree with what you said about ear peircing, but by the sounds of it some of you think these handbands are nearly as cruel!!haha.
i dont understand why in the world you would want a tiny baby's ears peirced, IT IS cruelty and i remember getting mine done when i was about 14 and it stung a little and i was a grown up girl who wanted them done, but pain is different to everyone and some babie who have had it done might have found it horrendous, that is a complete noe debate no no
appreciate what you have got x

Never mind the pain......what about possible infection?

Why would ANYONE want to stick holes in their own baby's/toddler's ears? Why do piercing salons not simply refuse to do this?

All babies are beautiful as they are. I know this to be true! And no amount of feathery hats/earrings are gonna be an improvement!

My friend had her daughter's ears done when she was under 2. It looks odd, just looks like an old head on a young body.

I wasn't allowed my ears pierced until i was 12 and even then it took some nagging.

I think that my daughters will be discouraged from having it done until they made the decision and that i knew they were sensible enough to clean etc.

Also I have to admit on my friends daughter it does look CHAV, although she isn't.
