raphael - you don't actually need to get into the lotus position to meditate. Simply sit comfortably with your back supported and legs crossed (can normally only get my legs crossed at the ankles) or in "cobbler" pose - soles of the feet touching. I'm not a very flexible person but I still love the serenity that yoga gives - it can help you to work out some things that may have been bothering you

I know, but the half lotus did feel comfortable :D
I may have to do it against the wall thou, as my back started hurting, cos I was sitting up properly for a change  hoping the yoga will help with that (DVD has been dispatched :D )

Are you saying the likes of Ajax are not your ideal customer market?.

....... excuse me? "The likes of Ajax"? Hrmf!

Anyway, there's no way I'd buy a pair of ladies keks unless they have been worn at least 5 times since their last wash - front and back! Ajax shops lingerie on Ebay, does he. Hmmm!!!!

Nise, thank you for your work on the chart, and also for the concept of Granny's Gussets which had me spluttering my Kenco at the window five minutes ago.

I just realised - today is my 1st MSE anniversary. So I guess you all buy me paper? Or a cake. Cakes. Lemon madeira. With lemon icing. Slobber.

Morning all. Well the official weigh-in post holiday says that I have lost 5lbs which is great - and it means that I have exceeded the 7 stone barrier AND the 100lbs milestone. Suggs and starlight, I would like to formally take my place on the ton club bench (edited: 3 figure bench). I knew I'd get there in the end!

Total loss 101.5lbs. Thanks for the chart in advance grannynise. I guess this loss should not really count towards the monthly challenge as it was over the last few weeks.

I am so happy for you - well done!! :j  :j :T

Hopefully I will be joining the gang within the next few months too! Sometimes I go into Tesco and lift up large sacks of spuds and remind myself how hard it was to walk back then! Actually it was hard to do anything back then!:o

Save a space for me in the 100 lb gang - I am coming!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Well I'm feeling very please this morning after being very apprehensive for my second weigh in on the Paul McKenna System. Managed to lose another 11 lbs so a stone and a half since I started.

To be fair it seems too easy, I am not eating that much different than before, although I can't each as much as I used to, I don't snack any more, always have Breakfast and eat when I'm hungry, stopping when full. I also now walk more than I used to leaving the car at home for going the local places and started Swimming which I would never of had the confidence to do before. Still off the Beer as well having had no alcohol since New Years eve.

Having just said all that I have made some drastic changes but a lifestyle change rather than a diet or eating plan. I previously used to do the Slim Fast Drinks and be starving with no energy and irritable. Now I feel great and I'm only 30 days in to the 90 day program, so at this rate I could lose 4 and a half stone and be back to the weight I was 12 years ago when I got married.
    Cheers
    Steve

Hi all, thank you for the chart Granny (good luck with Ofsted). I feel very humbled and shown up that all the maintainers managed to maintain except me :o Brilliant work team!

Looking down the chart, hardly any gains, loads of losses and STS so :T guys!

Bails, great about the prospective job! Fingers crossed for you!

Taadaa, nice work with the grocery bill, the £35 saved will go a long way on other things!

Well I've got a lot of ebay listings to prepare today so I'd better get on with it! :p

Thanks for the chart once again Grannynise you're doing a great job even if you can't spell Wensdy <<< look and learn.. tut tut!! teachers!!! :D ...Well done efrieze :j SOTW and thoroughly deserving of it too! I presume by your sig that you want to lose a bit more? I read your posts earlier this week about deciding when enough is enough and it is hard, I still have a mental image of a fat me even though I can wear size 8 trousers, if someone had told me this time last year that I'd be wearing that size in 12 months time, I'd have ...... :rotfl: :rotfl:... but now I can but I still feel as I did. The only tme I feel slimmer is when I'm in the shop actually buying the new clothes, I swear they, and I, both expand as we travel home :o:confused: ...

...happy anniversay ajax lemonalmondtnnp4.jpgit's the best I can do at the moment :D ...

...Vix How about Pet's panties - the briefer the better :rotfl: (I wish :rotfl: )...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Thank you pet for wonderful cake. It even looks lemony, and I swear I can see the words Ajax Is A Hero spelt out in zest on the top!

Is there any truth in the rumour that Pet's Panties is subject to a hostile takeover approach from Suggs' Speedos?

brighton belles boobly wooblys. Thats what the boyfriend and i call them. minus brighton belle in front of it :p refering to my boobs. Which arent very wobbly either. Ha.

Loving pet's panties. Panties always remind me (like what ajax said) of old men with beards sniffing them and getting aroused.

I got my number through for the sport relief mile!!!! I am B033993 (something like that) BO being quite relivent and 3 and 9 are my lucky numbers so hopefully that is a good sign!

I got one of my grades back from my european business exam and coursework, in total i got a 2.1!! Yay. So im in a good mood today!
