Hi ½lb loss this week yippeeee!!!
Well done all the losers, hugs for those who need them. Not caught up with the thread since I hurt my back but will try tonight.Need to sort my life out! :T0 -
Ive just done my Wednesday Workout! my legs hurt! did a 1172 steps on my stepper, toned my arms with lloyd grossmans smoky backon sauces, run 20 laps of my living room, walked 5, ran 5 walked 5 again. and general dancing about for half an hour or so. Thats quite lame, but after half an hour ive had enough!
I shall go and weigh myself in a mo, should have done it as i got changed, der.

giving something up for lent? I gave up alcohol because the docs told me to, I gave up sugar because the docs told me to, I gave up being able to get about because the docs told me to, I gave up all high cal, sugars, fats, pastries, bikkies, crisps, belly pork, bacon because the diet dictates it, so what else is there to give up for lent?lol xx
Being so hard on yourself....:grouphug:
Well done to everyone for their losses this week; special well done for Efrieze for breaking two milestones :T
Grannynise, I'm sorry nasty Ofsted have wiped the smile off your face; did you not get done quite recently? Hope it goes well x
Bluecorn, sorry to hear about your daughter, sounds awful, really hope she gets out soon. Well done for losing anyway.
Vix, how about Vix's Knicks?
I agree with the idea of doing something positive for Lent, especially if you're not religious. It's all about the terminology and having to 'give something up' makes it so much harder. I almost got sucked into it this year but have stopped myself just in timeI am going to start doing something though...
When I arrvied in the department today, the Deputy Head was waiting for me  I didn't actually know who he was and had a riddle of a conversation with him until my head of department filled me in afterwards - apparently they're looking at provision for Catch up and if they decide to fund it, they're going to offer the job to me! :j It's 6 hours, whenever suits me, so well within what I'll be capable of by then (unless anything unexpected happens) and it'll be my little 'thang'. My HoD says she's desperate to retain me and then offer me something more permanent with more hours when I'm up to it/ a post comes up :j As you can imagine, I'm a little bit excited, just hope it comes off now.
Delly, so sorry to hear all the stress you're still under, they best be very grateful!
Well done to everyone this week and good luck for the one coming xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Scratch that Delly, I think it's a fantastic idea!! I've ordered a yoda DVD of Amazon, and researched meditation online last night in work (it was so very quiet!)
Aparently the two go very well together.
I tried my first meditation this morning before bed, I couldn't get into the full lotus position, not sure if it's cos I'm not flexible enough, or the fat on my legs wasn't allowing it :rotfl:so I did the half lotus (managed to get one foot on my knee at least!) I felt more relaxed afterwards, more calmer.
Thanks Delly!

Surely it's more MSE to let it go grey naturally?
Ive not weighed myself yet because quite frankly i cant be bothered to get naked! i shall sooneth!
Haha, :rotfl: that made me laugh! Some mornings I can't be bothered to get dressed!Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!
