Hi Everyone
I didn't manage to weigh in last week, however this week I have lost 1lb.
No pancakes for me neither, I had WW meal instead. Rest of family had them round at Grandmas house way from me so didn't get tempted. House was so peaceful too when I arrived home from work, heaven springs to mind!!If this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.0 -

That is really kind of you nise - but I did deserve a gain and a much bigger one than 1.5lbs.... if you'd seen the rubbish I've eaten since Friday you'd understand.
Not a pancake in sight chez Dellybelly because I've been so busy. Up at 6.50 this morning getting DS's bedclothes dried (had an accident through the night) and peeling potatoes for dinner. Had to work up extra time at work too cos I had to take time off yesterday to take DS to the GP... ( still have 60 minutes to make up) so didn't get home till 5.30. Dinner made for DS for 6 but dropped it - so he got his portion a bit later. Had to pick up OH from work at 7. Called in to get weighed on the way home but couldn't stay for the class (DS fell asleep in the car). Had dinner and my final chocolate till Easter, yes I'm giving it up for lent, spent an hour in the bath and an hour and a half chatting to a friend on the phone - sharing our woes - her life is much worse than mine so I feel better. I think she thinks mine is worse than hers so I guess it goes both ways.
((((hugs))))) bluecorn hope your DD is better soon.
raphael - the idea of lent is sacrifices or spiritituality - what about taking up yoga or meditation? Or giving up chips... walking doesn't seem much of a sacrifice if you already have to walk your lovely pup....
Well done lucy on 1lb off.
Off to bed now, and spending tomorrow afternoon in FiL's house (we've persuaded MiL that the house is unhabitable until at least friday so they're staying with relatives).
Have a great week all - and thanks in advance for the chart grannyniseGoal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -

Not had chips for months!!:D
I'm not religious, so I'm not too sure why I want to 'do' Lent. Meditation sounds really good thou, get a bit of peace and quiet and a chance to reflect in my hectic day.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Welcome gloomgurlie to our little band. Try to cheer up though - like Paul Harvey said "I've never seen a monument erected to a pessimist."

giving something up for lent? I gave up alcohol because the docs told me to, I gave up sugar because the docs told me to, I gave up being able to get about because the docs told me to, I gave up all high cal, sugars, fats, pastries, bikkies, crisps, belly pork, bacon because the diet dictates it, so what else is there to give up for lent?lol xx0 -

Well done to all the fantastic losers, maintainers and strugglers. The chart might be a little late this week -- I'm off to have a bit more grey put in my hair at enormous expense .. not very mse. The hairdresser says it will be shiny silver -- hmmm, I'll let you know.
I've lost 2.5 lb this week, a total now of 32.5 so I'm skippy, yippy and dippy like you likklegibbon.0
