I do put away about £50 (all I can really afford at the moment) but stupidly raided it before christmas!!! Very angry with myself about that one, it wouldn't be such and issue if I had.
Still I have learnt not to do it again!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
So glad to hear it's not a bankrupting amount!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

HOW MUCH!!! for a cambelt and tensioners i paid £220.00 fitted for a Fiesta. I would ask for a breakdown on the price!!0

I will do, they are going to replace a spark plug (while they looked at the engine for the cam belt, they made sure everything else was ok)
It does include VAT etc, so long as it's done I can cope with that, plus I made them look at it before I got them to do the repairs. I'm happy and so is OH and at least it was £1000'sCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Good news
Pleased for you, the amount is about average so don't wind yourself up about the cost - some garages can be cheaper, some can be more expensive - you had limited options at the time and it could have been much worse.

That's where the +£1000 bills come into things, can sometimes be cheaper to source a 2nd hand engine from a breaker and do a straight swap.Again, I really do hope Lady Luck is smiling on you and that engine.Exactly what happened to mine
Debtman2007 - was there a reason you just copied and pasted a part of my post as a reply, with no quote marks...? Bizarre...0
