I don't have a refund policy at themoment but that will change with my next listings!
They've only got small feedback and all positive.
She is saying there is something wrong with the item that probably isn't the fault of the post office so no claim there.
I have offered her a full refund of the bid amount and the postage I charged but she wants me to re-imburse her the cost of sending it back to me. It's not a huge amount, £6.20ish including postage and if it was something I bought and I had the same complaint I would be tempted to just ignore it, I think the buyer is pretty pedantic lol.

She said she posted it back to me Thursday so I will have to wait and see I suppose. Like you said though, I want to protect my feedback. If I give her a full refund and she still leaves negative I think I can dispute that, I know my sister once left someone negative after a refund (She's also pedantic lol) and the seller reported her to square trading and they asked her to retract the feedback so I suppose there is some protection.

The neg can be for not only faulty goods but also slow posting, bad communication, bad over all experience, slow refund if faulty etc etc so if they neg you for not refunding the postage if you agreed to this before she sent it back then you'll just have to either take it on the chin or refund the postage and even then they can still neg you. Only if you neg them back can you then both withdraw ALL the neg feedback but I wouldn't do that just to force them to withdraw the mutual negs!
I would wait and see what the state of the item is when it gets back and then go from there.

Got it back this afternoon (Postman had been when we were out and doorstepped it) The fault she sent it back for is so tiny and unnoticable, I had to hold it up to the light to find it!

I have refunded her everything she paid me, will just have to wait and see what happens now...

    This is a fantastic idea!

I'm already casting a critical eye over my belongings - thinking about what I should sell on! I have a sneaking suspicion that this is going to become an obsession of mine!

Have you heard anything yet? Fingers crossed everything will be fine.

Glad to have 2 new people on board :hello:
It's definitely becoming an obsession with me. OH has started rolling his eyes as soon as eBay is mentioned. Have secretly removed some things from his wardrobe but haven't been brave enough to list them yet!:p

Well today's scores on the doors: sold another 6 items and have already been paid for 2 will update total when I've been to the post office.

Only downside to being on eBay is that I have managed to spend some of my proceeds but they have been wedding related and have picked up some bargains for DD's birthday in March so will just put the money in my wedding pot if I get desperate.

Must list some more tonight. I try to list similar items together tonight it's DD's outgrown clothes......................

Received an email from eBay just now with a £10 coupon off a purchase as they hadn't seen much of me recently!!!

Was wanting to buy OH some cufflinks for valentines day. Managed to find the perfect pair with free P&P - total cost - Nothing........... Bonus!
