Does Ebay let you trade kidneys? - I went to my first bridal shop today and found THE dress. But at £600 it is slightly over budget :eek::eek::eek::eek:
I did that was not going to pay £1000 and managed to find a seller on eBay who makes dresses and had it listed. Saved just over £900. It hasn't arrived yet but have researched and her dresses are gorgeous and she's making it to my measurements (am vertically challenged)
You never know you may strike lucky!
My update - have been paid and posted final item - another £1.50 and cheque for painting arrived £70 - Bonus.
Ebay items finish on Monday. Will try and list a few more tonight
And shoes arrived! Absolutely gorgeous just need to practice walking in them now :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

My bridesmaids dresses are giving me a right headache OH wants all 3 in the same dress (ages 6 8 and 19) so am going to have to get them from a proper shop:mad:. Their dresses are going to cost more than mine.:(
I've found nearly everything else online so far and am really not looking forward to it.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Thanks!
Just a thought but don't you knwo someone who could make some simple ones for you? Alternatively try Asda if you have a BIG one near you - they used to have a wedding clothes section... i bought a lovely dress which I have worn to weddings although it's supposed to be a brides maid dressAnd they should be able to supply different age ones...
Personally I'm aiming for the colour to be the same and then the design can be whatever they like if I have more than onethat way they might actually use them again one day for a ball or something

I wanted the smaller ones in girly full skirts dresses with sashes and the big one in something in same colour but OH is just not having it. I can't see how something that a 19 year old will wear will suit a 6 year old!
Further problem is that 2 of them live in Scotland and I'm in Lincolnshire.............................Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I got my bridesmaids dresses off eBay, they came from canada, are absolutely gorgeous and cost £30 each inc postage.
They're to fit a 4yo, 7yo and 14yo and all exactly the same!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Yes it is paddingtondoo! Is yours the same date? Popular date I believe!
Shame about your bridesmaid dress dilemma! That is one of the things that I have left to sort! I have three adult bridesmaids but haven't budgeted much for their dresses! One option is making them but if anyone can e-mail the details of the dress-maker you were chatting about that would be great!
Didn't get round to listing anything last night so going to have to do it today!
KatyThank you to all posters:beer:0 -
