I re-listed the 3 items that didn't sell yesterday... Do they count as my daily listings? lol. Got a load of girls clothes my daughters grown out I need to bundle up will do it while she's at school tomorrow... Might raid her old toys too... can never do it when she's around... funny how they never play with something until you get it out to give away isn't it...

I've done a little spreadsheet to see how much profit I'm making but can't really tell for sure until I've been paid by everyone! :rolleyes2
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Best thing about today was I managed to win £20 on pigsback for a daily quiz - that's the sun tan lotion for honeymoon covered - will keep an eye out for Boots buy one get one free now

    I'm listing on Thursday too.

Plus bit of good news - I've got an old Tag watch, had it valued, should get up to £300 quid for it! So that will kick start the fund off perfectly - along with a £50 competition win :T.

    Off to update my sig
    Comps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

  • Thanks for the heads up on the cheaper listing day! Managed to do all my photos yesturday so now just need to finish the listings then I will place them on on Thursday!

Going to have to do a boot fair as well soon (when the weather is better!) to try and shift some stuff that isn't really worth putting on e-bay!

I have managed to order some bridesmaids dresses which are just evening dresses that are in the m and co sale! Not traditional bridesmaid dresses but only £8 each, instead of £35! They are silver which is supposed to be an in colour this year. Monsoon have a new silver gown for £160. I figure if they don't fit the bill when they arrive I can always put them on e-bay but I think they will be fine!

I was doing really well but just had an email from a buyer saying that something I sent out is faulty, sure it wasn't when I posted it!

I've offered a refund if she returns it but she wants me to pay the return postage to, I'm inclined not too, I'm already going to be out of pocket with listing fees etc and I really am sure there was nothing wrong with it when I posted it out... what would you do?

  • Hmmmmm,
Have listed another 8 items today as its half price listing day and have so far sold 3 that are ending tomorrow. The woman in the post office will hate me shortly!

Unfortunately I have also spent some money but it was on the Me to You bears I have been looking for to hold the table numbers...................

At least my purchases are tracking on topcashback :p so will get a few pence back.

Have you specified a refund policy on your listings?
Have you checked your buyers feedback to see if they make a habit of this?
Can you claim from the post office?
I haven't been in this situation but would check with the post office to see what the situation is first. If you can claim it back I would be tempted to refund in full to protect my feedback but insist on the buyer sending the item back before refunding anything. Its possible that they won't bother and leave you negative feedback anyway but you can reply to it with something along the lines of offered full refund on return but buyer refused.
Have a look at the eBay help pages and see if that helps.

Are we talking about a huge amount here?
