Thanks AnW's Mum, I would never have remembered to do mine. I have just registered on line so hopefully my pin number will arrive on time. I don't know why I have to do one as I didn't earn any money in that tax year. It is a horrible thing for you to have to do and will bring back lots of memories of that time. Lots of hugs to you.

Just a quick pop in. I've sorted out a mountain of socks this morning and I think any that are left now are going in the bin - unless anyone has a good use for them?
DH has eventually put a set of hooks in the conservatory at the kids' height for them to hang their coats on so that'll help me to sort out the DR and the conservatory.
WM & TD are on as usual and there's still a pile of ironing.
DH is currently bathing the kids so I'd better crack on

JJ I sometimes use old socks to give things a quick wipe over or polish - even shoes.
Poohbear maybe you will be able to get some tax back on any savings interest etc?

Hiya
Well, I was up to date with our washing until we took our dog to the park with a ball and the children. DH pushed DS in the mud, DS pushed DH in the mud, DD got involved and then I was pushed in the mud. If anyone was watching us having a mud fight in the pooring rain. We were all covered head to toe. It was fun but the washing machine is going to be very busy through the night...lol! DD has just said today is the best day of her life! Bless her.
Have a nice Sunday night xxJanuary budget

well - 2 lessons out of 4 for tomorrow now planned well and resourced, the other 2 have plans but need to have nice resources made or found.
Charlie fed and now in the bath. Would be further on but DH took him out to play, and he fell down the steps in the garden and grazed his nose, eye and forehead. That took a bit of time to clean up and calm him down.
My load of washing finished, bed remade, DH sorted out 2 loads of washing that can go in later this evening.
Plan is for me to wash my hair soon while DH does the bottle and bedtime routine, then the next 2 loads of washing can go through the machine tonight while i am working.
It never stops here.
I'm feeling really greatful that DH did his tax return the other evening, and that we haven't had to waste time at A and E with DS. DH is feeling really guilty, even though he has not stopped all day and been a real star.
Can't help these things can you, and no permanent damage done. Right - sneak peak at the list, and then get on i think.

Phew getting there on the tax return. Looks like I am going to have a hefty tax bill
the pension I am getting from OH's work has the wrong tax code on it, which I did know about so it is not a total shock but the amount at the moment is  Need to get all the business stuff sorted so I can add that in and hope that it has made a loss to offset some of the tax I have to pay :rotfl:
What I really object to is having to pay 6 months tax upfront and even more by the end of July.
Better get some dinner on the go, A & W have been stars all day and played well for the most part. They have had a PJ day as I got so engrossed sorting things here.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Serena regrets that she will be unavailable for Flying next week, as she will far too busy knitting socks!:D
I had a brilliant time at the workshop yesterday, and have completed a mini version of a sock, just trying out all the techniques. There were only 6 in the group, so plenty of attention from the tutor, and it was so good that I'm definitely going to book for a future one on professional making up and finishing - which is the bit I never really like doing. We were given two balls of sock wool, which is enough for our trial and a complete pair of socks. we were also given a 10% discount voucher for one use before the end of January, so I shall be raiding my savings to treat myself to a pattern and some wool I think!
I have done a few bits today though, mainly washing clothes that I usually do Saturday, and also starting on clearing out the garage as the new bookshelves and all the wardrobe stuff is being delivered on Friday. There's no space yet to store it! I've got a bootload for the tip, another load in the garage, lots listed on freecycle, and a carload to go to the charity shop.
I'll do all that before I start on the kitchen as we can't drive near the charity shop after 10am
PS Could you chat a little less? All this reading isn't leaving me any time for housework...;)
ps lilo - haven't seen any posts from you. Are you feeling okay? (((lilo))) in case you could do with one.
I've read so much, I can't remember what I need to say to anyone:o I'll do better next week.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
pigpen... Don't just think of the money but also what you could do with it! it may help motivate you into listing one or two more bits that you will never have to move, clean or dust again if they sell!
I have to concentrate on the money.. it will be used to pay off a bill.. as always.. or I may start a new rule that it goes in my christmas savings.. I have £60 already and another £50 coming from greasypalm. I have 150 'bits' to list!!

I've only posted a couple of times but I've been reading the posts for ages. I'd love to join in as I think being part of the group would give me some much needed motivation!!
I've decided that a major declutter is on the cards. The trouble is getting it done and still keeping up with the daily stuff at the same time!
Looking forward to 'joining in' this week!!

Evening all, welcome to the thread Amandaj, motivation by the bucketload on here! AnW's well done for getting stuck in to a sh***y job, I know it's neccessary but I'm full of admiration for you. LJD, how lovely that DDs best day ever was fun in the mud! Sweet. Serena, glad you enjoyed your workshop yesterday, its nice to spend a day doing something you fancy learning.
I had an easy day at work til 3 today then I went to ikea..gulp. I only wanted a gift voucher but came away with two sofa throws to transform my vile couch. It was so chocka in there they had to let folks leave the carpark by the service gates as it was causing traffic problems elsewhere. Never again on a Sunday!
I've sorted some ironing for later this evening in case anyone throws down a HHC other than that I've done no flying today. One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400
