Hiya
Dusty - yes reflexology can be brilliant but only, in my opinion, if you don't get a completely obsessed reflexologist. I had a client recently whose previous reflexologist had told her to come off insulin even though she was diabetic. Down right dangerous. It works well alongside western medicine and is extremely relaxing. Make sure your reflexologist is fully qualified. I doubt someone could do any harm but they might not do much good either. I usually have monthy reflexology but haven't had it for three months and believe me my PMT is so bad today....can you tell!
Moral of the story when you have PMT - don't waste 2 hours looking for your driving license for a police check tomorrow as if you actually look properly it will be exactly where you first looked for it. Ho hum!
Thanks for everyone's good wishes tomorrow. I'll spend the morning doing my list and putting all the paperwork back that i've pulled out from all over the house whilst trying to find the driving license! My challenge this week is to do half an hours filing a day till everything is in its place. Night all xxJanuary budget

Hi everyone. I've been lurking round here for a while. Not actually done anything about it though really. Never got any time, and when I have a bit of time I feel I coulds never achieve as much as you all do!!! I was reading something about stardrops being absolutely fantastic stuff on the website somewhere. So I bought some tonight 75p for a 600ml bottle of stardrops concentrated. So... can I clean almost everything with it? surfaces? gas cooker? floors etc??? I hope to make a proper start later in week, will have to juggle it round work etc.
I dilute it into a spray bottle and use it for most cleaning. Great at getting grease marks off tiles etc. Be aware though that it does create fumes so don't breathe it inWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -
Thanks Vivw. that's great, I have a spray bottle that is nearly empty, so I'l wash it out and use that. I'll be highly impressed if it will get stubborn grease marks off without me having to scrub!!!
Thanks again. you're a star.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Pink Fairy, goodnight, for when you get chance to read this, it might take less time than you think, I was only suggesting add the living room when you do the kitchen because that was on tomorrows list but....that 5 minutes I can fit in....dining room, kitchen, utility, conservatory, living room and front hall....set a timer, you might be suprised how short a time it takes to do a 'quick' vacuum round. No bragging here either, sitting room is over 20ft each way or something stupid and the conservatory is 14ft by 12ft or something daft, I know exactly what you mean about more space=more work as I learned moving from a 2 down 3 up end terrace to a detatched house.....grrrr bloomin dog hair means I do all the downstairs at least twice daily.
LJD1 good luck and Dusty, it's been a while since I last went, I used to HATE having my feet touched but can allow my reflexologist because she's lovely and helps me relax so much.
tattycath, helloI use stardrops diluted 10-1 ish (10 water 1 stardrops) for most tasks, I think it's down to personal preference and what you are dealing with. I would suggest trying it very watered down then you can 'add some' if it's not strong enough.
Dinner made (after he said a sincere sorry when I got cross) decided tonight would be the night to try his first proper salad (with the chicken kiev and rice) so I could watch him squirm :rotfl: beats shouting at him any day. DW done, will try to squeeze brekkie dishes in before I start it, DPs stinky trainers washed (now I know what the 'pong' was in the hall) kids clothes out for tomorrow, kids clothes picked up off floor and in washing basket. Pack ups still need doing then I am finished I think...One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks lil_me you're a gem!!! Well, I have just managed to do a load of washing and put it in td. 2nd load of washing I've done today. I even remembered to take joint of lamb out of freezer-hope it is defrosted by morning as I want to set sc going before I have to go out. OH swept up downstairs this am before he went out. He is now snoring so I had better wake him up and drag him off to bed!!!!! Goodnight all.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Everyone has had such a good day!! Ive not done bad but only really the dailies, must do the kitchen floor in the morning, its minging.
Ive never had a problem with dogs moulting (have cat) but we bought a new rug before Christmas and that is STILL moulting, I am amazed that there is a pile left on it - it leaves little balls of wool all over the carpet when you walk - a very attractive look NOT. Ive never used the hoover so much!!!
tia - dont listen to these lightweights with the spot, what you need to do is put something hot on it - wet a cloth from the kettle - and hold it over the spot like a poultice - this will bring it to a head, and THEN you can burst it (But I have to warn you it will hurt!!!) Also putting aftershave/perfume on it will dry it out
embb - so glad to hear that DIL is okay - shes in the best place and will be home soon
AnWsmum - yep you got me too, I so admire your positive attitude and that you make the best of each day - its lovely that you still include dad in everything, they need to feel that he is still part of their lives and they can still love him. I hope should I every be in the same position that I could be like you.
There are some newbies to say hi to as well - Pink fairy, vivw and tattycath and any others - helllllllooooooo from sunny south (I wish!!!)

I've said it before and I know I will say it again, you guys are the best
A has had a great day and even better she got 'cub of the week' tonight and brought home a lil trophy which now has pride of place on the mantelpiece. Not sure what she got it for, think it was because it's her birthday. Anyways she has gone to bed one very happy lil girl
Seems to have been an afternoon/evening for tears! Your responses to some of my posts had me in tears, but I like to think good tears. Now that A & W are in bed is the time I miss DH the most, I suppose it's the thinking what he has missed but also how proud he would feel about them both.
But in the next breath you have me grinning like a Cheshire cat and laughing with you all and the stories of no pants! That is what I love about this thread, anyone can share anything, the good the bad, the ugly and the useless (well at times anyway) OH'sThere is always someone to lend shoulder to cry on, make a :coffee: or give out a kick.
Sorry to ramble on but just had to tell you all!
Mmmmm and now I have said that I have forgotten who said what and what about!!!! So as appropriate hugs/slaps on the back/atta girl to one and all.
